Kastraki location is really ideal. Best amenity was the large second floor covered porch where you could stretch out with a cold (very cheap) beer after a day's hiking or climbing with rock-spires and green mountains spread out before you. Perfect place to relax!! Mom-staff was charming; son-staff rarely around. I highly recommend Kastraki over Kalampaka. Nice and comfortable rooms, the view was excellent and the lady in the reception very helpful. It is a great value for money place to stay and explore the area and I don't understand why people below moan about the breakfast which was basic yet good.
所有评语 » The guesthouse rooms are clean and nicely decorated. The landlady is very sweet and homely although she speaks almost no English. Position is perfect for visiting the Meteora Monastries. Wif internet connection was appreciated. quiet location. I like to stay the balcony with the beautiful view of meteora rocks. clean and good room to stay,breakfast is also good. very warm atmosphere,seems like staying my grandma's house. I want to stay again!. Friendly staff, we were late, but had no problem with late check-in, spectaclular view, tidy room (room with balcony is strongly recommended), reasonable prices. Τhe view was breathtaking. The ladz in order of the guesthouse was very kind and helpful. She offered a great breakfast and all kind of information needed. Spectacular views of the rock formations , rooms well equipped . Staff does not speak English, but very friendly . Warm recommendation . Fantastic localization close to Meteora. Beautifull view. The lack of english was an issue: two things did not get taken care of because of the lack of communication. I found breakfast skimpy. This raises the issue of cost-benefit. I am paying little on letsbookhotel.com so I am hesitant to complain about small things. But if I was paying the room- rate on the door -- I would be pretty unhappy. I like basic Greek breakfast, my daughters not as much. Beds are not for people over 190cm (6ft2). there isn't bus to move in the centre of Kalampaka. Only issue was that the host couldn't understand English and it was a little hard communicating. Poor breakfast. Old style bathroom, near the main road - cars noise can be considered disturbing. poor breakfast. a littlebit noisy. very small room with dim lighting poor breakfasts no cleaning in the room. It was rather cold in the room and we had really big troubles with hot watter... I assume however that it was only due to low season. The breakfast could be better!. Noise from the road no breakfast was suggested.
