  The location was absolutely stunning as you would expect if you stay on the Calderra. Right in the heart of Thira. The room which was very clean was also gorgeous and quirky which was brilliant. The owner was extremely helpful and very welcoming. For a small fee he picked us up from the port and took us to the airport..   This was a beautiful hotel. The view is magnificent! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are really nice and unique. They are very organized and professional and very friendly. Close to everthing but still not in the middle so you get some peace and quiet too! Takes about 3 minutes to walk up to the main street!   In the heart of Fira. Metres from the cable car and main tourist shopping area. Everything was within walking distance to Fira. Eva, the hostess is a wonderfully friendly and helpful person. We didn't arrive until midnight, she left us a welcome note and instructions about the key. She went so far as to make us a take-away breakfast when we had to leave to catch the midnight ferry. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is meticulously clean, and the beds are the softest I've experienced in Greece so far. The pool area is as good as any luxury hotel, and the outdoor gardens are lovely.

  Nefeles Luxury Suites is very conveniently located on the rim of the Caldera, near the shops and the cable car. Since we stayed on the highest floor, we could just step out of our room, climb 3 stairs and there we were in the shopping district! The view from our balcony cannot be beaten.   A fantastic hotel runs by a fantastic family. We were there for 4 nights with 3 teenagers. The children slept in an apartment-loft while my husband and I were in the windmill: very romantic and lovely. The pool area is wonderful, with nice sunbeds.
