  The front desk staff were excellent and very helpful in every regard. On the day were leaving to catch an early train, the staff arranged for a packed lunch which was substantial and far beyond what we expected. The hotel could benefit from mentioning that there was a supermarket across the street as amenities like basic shops are difficult to locate in central Koblenz.   This hotel is situated on the banks of the Rhine River and has a lovely balcony where guests sit out and enjoy drinks and light meals while gazing at all the passing river traffic. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful and we were able to hire bikes from the hotel to use along the cycling tracks beside the river. Will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Koblenz. - The rooms were nice, the location great--we could see the Rhine from our windows, and a nice walk to the Deutches Eck. A few blocks away from the more crowded areas, which was a plus. We had a very spacious double room, with a little sitting area--a great value. Very nice breakfast in a dining room over looking the river. This is a very nice small hotel and I would recommend it to anybody passing through Koblenz.
