A beautiful hotel with a truly wonderful Breakfast room.The whole place oozes history and accommodation is at an extremely reasonable price. The location is excellent, the breakfast good and the staff very obliging. I didn't get to visit the Glass Museum which is in the hotel but hope to do so on a future visit D.V. It it a very good three stars hotel, just in the middle of the Old Town. the location is perfect. Breakfast was excellent on the upper floor with a beautiful view of the city.. Reception people very friendly. The provided a place for our bikes in a room just beside their desk. I recommend the beautiful place.

Will definitely visit this hotel again. It was my second stay in Wilder Mann. A beautiful historic hotel with perfect location and at fair price! It is a must to have a breakfast in the hotel: you will enjoy the view over Passau city center!. Staff members were particularly friendly and helpful. The hotel is next to the Danube and to the Rathaus in the historic centre. Completely restored following the devastating floods in June. Historic hotel with a lot of character in the heart of Passau's historic centre. Small but comfortable single room and a delightful breakfast in the splendid dining room on the top floor. Architecture reminiscent of a medieval castle or monastery, combined with all modern conveniences. Stunning views over the city from the breakfast room. Scrupulously clean. Helpful staff. The hotel is located right next to the Danube - lovely older building with a great glass museum. Staff were helpful and friendly - we would certainly return when in Passau again. Excellent location opposite the river, easy access to local transport and within walking distance of all amenities. Breakfast very good and dining really lovely. This hotel has a very personal touch. Excellent location, comfortable double bed, breakfast for a wide variety of tastes in a beautiful room on the top of the hotel. Room was large and comfortable. The hotel is situated in an old historical building in the center of town. It was in the center of city. My room was rather small, but it was also the cheapest. In spite of that it was perfec for our short stay of two nights. Nothing!!!1. No evening meals. Nothing at all. He room was getting rather cold before the heat came on in the evening. The bedroom was quite small and double bed against the wall making it difficult to get out during the night. There was no facilities for getting a hot drink. not enough light in the rooms. The rooms are a bit small and there was a noise during the night from the courtyard. No tv in English. In such a well appointed hotel you would expect at least one channel in English. Only 10 channels and all in German. some noise from hall; no English channel on TV. small rooms. poor and expensive breakfast (7 euros), which doesn't include hot dishes. As it was very hot during the night and the tap water is not to be used for drinking because of floods, we wanted to buy water at the hotel - first they told us they don't have anything... Actually it should be provided anyway for guests, because they can't know in advance that tap water is bad for drinking and in the middle of the night you have no choice. Internet password was not in the brochure, we had to call reception to get this information. The staff was not as friendly and welcoming as expected. At the moment of the stay there was no possibility of nearby parking, and the two parking places reserved for the hotel for check-in and check-out were constantly occupied. Front desk person was incompetent. Credi card machine not workin and had to pay in cash, even with pre arpproval. She also confessed that free wifi was not working. Hotel still not recovered from recent flooding. The room is pretty small. We booked a double room, but received a very small room with a double bed jammed against one wall, squeezed into the room. It was impossible to store two suitcases anywhere. It was dusty and poor.
