  I'd best describe the hotel as a "very comfortable, high quality hotel with friendly backpacker hostel type ambiance". Everything has been thought of to make the stay easy, agreable and fun - including option for travellers on a budget. Tip: if you're staying in the Rockstar Suite, bri - Everything is brand-new and pretty well designed. Very stylish and simple. Breakfast for additional price but that was a good choice of food. The location is excellent: lots of bars, cafes and fruit markets. Just across the hotel one can find small shop to buy fish sandwiches. The centre is reachable by S- and U-Bahn, at the hotel also one can borrow a bike (we didn't try but it supposedly included in price).

  This is an older German gasthäus so it is what it is. However, you would be hard put to find a modern hotel as clean as this place. It was spotless. My room, #21, was very quiet and comfortable. I also felt very safe in the area. Would return wi - I've stayed here numerous times, love the central location near the main train station and the happening street nearby with cafes, bars and restaurants. Some rooms have no bathroom, so you need to make sure what you're after...
