  This is a lovely hotel with a lovely friendly and warm atmosphere. The staff work hard to make sure everything is how you like it and they are happy to give you advice and tips on the area. It's situated in a little town just outside GP but the road access is excellent and its very central to the main sights. Great cakes and lovely breakfast. Food was excellent with extras like coffee cake for breakfast and cake and tea in the afternoon. We had a large room on the 3rd floor: beautiful wood work; nice details; balcony overlooking the mountains. The best thing of all was the herd of cows being driven to the barn to be milked and then back to pasture, right under our window.

  The hotel was very nice. There is one owner who speaks no english at all. This was O.K. for us since my husband is very good at German. The hotel is located in a quiet little village. It is about 10 minutes to Garmisch and skiing. We had reserved a room for 3 people. Our son is 14 and very tall.
