  The hotel is being renovated and our room was brand new. It was large and very comfortable with a king-size bed. The hotel is in a quiet area near the river and just a few minutes drive from a large shopping centre with a nice restaurant.   Monsieur and Madame Dalac were wonderful hosts, making us feel at home. They helped us with arrangements for visiting places and with reservations.   What is not to like about this place. David was an excellent host. His attention to dental re the room and bathroom was first class. The terrace outside our room to sit and have a quite drink, was an added bonus. - Very helpful en hospital host, clean and nice accommodation, good breakfast.

  Chateau Bouvet Ladubay is actually a very large mansion. The concept is to let some rooms to guests. So it is not like a traditional hotel where you can call room service. It is more like you are staying at a friend's house. In this case, that friend is Bruno, a very helpful and knowledgeable host. But if you don't need him he is not intrusive or unnecessarily c - The owner Bruno was very helpful during our stay at these amazing castle. The rooms were fantastic and huge. When it was very warm during our stay in Saumur the swimming pool was great. The castle is located just outside Saumur and it's easy to get into saumur which is a very nice town for shopping and have a lot of restaurants. The gates to the castle is also looked at nights so it feels really safe to have the car there.

  The owners and their family were extremely charming, welcoming, thoughtful and helpful - you couldn't wish for more. The rooms and bathrooms were large, delightful and immaculate. Breakfast was more than you could possibly eat ! - and included homemade yogurt and jams. Ample parking immediately outside the property. We'd certainly go - We were welcomed on arrival by a delightful family, who made us feel very comfortable in their lovely home. Our hosts helped with places to eat in town, and had suggestions of more places to visit. The swimming pool was made available, and breakfasts were excellent. A very enjoyable 3 days.
