  The rooms are clean and comfortable and look to have been recently refurbished. The staff were friendly and spoke English. The restaurant is plain and the food good. The hotel is situated in the middle of the most beautiful countryside and is only 16 minutes drive from Claude Monet's house and garden.   My friend and I had a comfortable, roomy and clean triple room with private bathroom, quiet at the back of the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast with plenty of choice including fresh fruit and scrambled egg and French type bacon. Only about a 10 minute walk to the station for the shuttle bus to Giverny for Monet's garden and a good bar for an evening - Vernon is very close to Giverny (4 kilometers) which is why we chose this hotel. It was quite reasonable for 2 nights at 176 Euro. Basic hotel rooms....no frills but fine and clean. Restaurant good and lounge for drinks for tea very comfortable with leather overstuffed chairs. Staff very helpful. Walking to the village, church, museum and restaurants within minutes. Sweet village.

  This is a real gem! We rented a double room on the ground floor, which had everything we needed. It was comfortable and clean and quiet. This is a lovingly restored building, with gracious owners.
