We called the number that was provided on the keys a - Staff was pleasant and helpful, especially the young man who ran my suitcase up three flights of stairs. The location was perfect for a quick visit to Rouen. Looking out my window at a Gothic building was very atmospheric.

  The shower was fantastic. The bed was comfortable. The window was big. The staff were friendly. In short it won't blow you away, but trying to find something to complain about is hard. - ideally located between the shopping,beach and ferry terminal, friendly staff, clean, comfortable, value for money.

Lady manager speaks v. good English and is v. helpful. I was studying WWII history in the area and she loaned me a rare book on the subject of The Bruneval Raid. Also booked me a table at restaurant next door. Cannot speak too highly of the service and the hotel generally.

  My daughter and I loved the cleaneliness of the hotel, especially the linnen in our room. I have been in many hotels (was an airhostess for 15 years and have never used a bath because of bacterial infections). This was the first hotel I had a bath. We loved our 'dotty'room with seaview. We stayed in the familyroom, with one double and 1 bunkbed. The room had a tiny, though functional and clean (so important) bathroom. The toilet was shared and on the hall, but just as clean. From the window we could see the beach (pebbles) and sea! Despite our stay was short it was really good!
