  The hotel and grounds were beautiful. We felt like we stepped back in time. The staff were gracious and helped with everything we needed, including securing a rental car (which was delivered to the hotel for us) for day trips to Monte Carlo and St. Tropez.   Our family had a wonderful time. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The spa was very nice. Breakfast was delicious and offered a huge variety for our teenagers with varying tastes. The staff was friendly and helpful. They even gave us 4 large bottles of water as we were leaving when they heard us talking about needing to find a store to buy ... 别人怎么说 » some for the car. The staff is exceptional and very willing to help in any way. We used Avignon as our base to travel all around Provence and felt we were returning to a quiet home estate at the end of each day.   Everything was lovely. We arrived late and the staff was very helpful and made us welcome. We were able to get seated in the restaurant before the kitchen closed but no one hurried us.
