Our family had a wonderful time. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The spa was very nice. Breakfast was delicious and offered a huge variety for our teenagers with varying tastes. The staff was friendly and helpful. They even gave us 4 large bottles of water as we were leaving when they heard us talking about needing to find a store to buy some for the car. Another staff member went out of his way to find a restaurant with specific cuisine for us and printed out a map.

Room interior was superb with great selection of bath amenities. Gym was well equipped and pool facilities were extensive including steam room and sauna. Location was good - nice and quiet being in a less busy street but still close to everything. Room 311 had a great view and the bed was very comfortable. Fresh towels were a luxury. The choice of shampoos etc in the bathroom. There was a lot of choice for breakfast and the fruit, salmon and cheeses were tasty. Thoroughly loved the location, our room was large and comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and efficient. Restaurant for dinner was lovely, good wine selection. Well presented very spacious room. Beautiful entrance, the bar and the restaurant, great food. I would call this place "affordable luxury". The reception hall and entrance is magnificent . Great location with a bacony overlooking the street. Staff are friendly and very helpful. We have stayed several times at the Hotel and have never been disappointed with the quality in all respects. Th staff very nice, the hotel perfectly clean, the room very large, wonderful time!. Reception area was good. - Evene all went wrong, the staff tried to help. There was a sort of decent pool. Nothing! We would've liked if it was closer to the beach or had a view of the sea but the neighborhood was nice and walk to beach was easy. Breakfast service was completely chaotic. I think they may have been understaffed both days but it took 15 mins to get our coffees and supplies were running low...it simply wasn't 5 star standard. When we checked in, it would have been good to be offered a choice to have a bathroom with a bath (not just a shower). Tea and coffee in the room, like the Hotel Indres in The Hague, Netherlands. At breakfast it was difficult to get really hot water for my tea. Had to wait over 24 hrs for a plug adapter - but staff offered to charge my phone. Strangest thing - there was no bedside lighting, no lamp or wall fixture for reading. Our bedding and towels were clean, but smelled like vinegar (was too strong). Nothing really that I can think of. Room was a decent size though in places showing some age. Lights should have dimmers to improve ambience. 1. Design of room seems not worth the money. 2. I travel with my mum and the transparent shower room make us feel a bit embarrassed. More suitable for couples. Rooms had no where to sit. Restaurant prices, Restaurant menu (too limited), Ruhl plage staff (very rude, unhelpful, and wouln't offer a half day as the Boscolo staff said we could buy. No tea making facilities in the room. Room service a little slow. They do some thing wrong in my bill for mini bar. style of hotel too pretentious for me! I prefer something simple. Bathroom arrangement not practical - showering all over floor. Noisy location. Swimming pool too small. The room service And at the restaurant. Some times this design complicated. - One piece of broken glass bottle at the swimming pool - the bathroom is not very clean (the limit between the wall and the glass is full of "moisissure") -. Very strange location bathroom. Price is high but it's usual for Nice. A lot of the functions in the spa were not working. The sauna was closed and the massage jets were out of service in the poll which was very disappointing. Poor tv options in the rooms, no movies. It smelt like poo. Car parking expensive. Toilets are awful inside the room..no ventilation or window in toilets,it is like you are locked imside a prison...shower is literally near the bed..no door. Not 5 star hotel personnel. -Our card to get to the room never worked. We needed to replace it 4 times in 2 nights stay. - the bed was absolutely not comfortable. for a king size the only put 2 separate mattresses together. - The shower was not clean, funghi on the wall. absolutely not a 5 stars hotel, max 2-3. The staff was in attentive from the beginning. The rooms were not properly cleaned or refreshed each day. The valet lost out car and when he finally found it bled us for not calling ahead soon enough! The housekeeping lost our laundry, when returned on check out day, tried to get us out quickly. Thumbs down on this hotel. Money should be spent on someplace where they will meet your needs. Especially if you spend money like this. Room services is not up to the expectation. Any telephone order takes more than 40minuts to be served. very unpractical and cheesy design; staff are not very helpful; very small swimming pool dirty and lots of kids taking swimming lessons.

Located in central Nice, this Belle Époque-style hotel features an indoor swimming pool. Guests have free access to the 500m² spa and fitness centre. It also has a billiards hall and is situated under a 10-minute walk from Promenade des Anglais. The hotel is non-smoking throughout. The spacious guest rooms are decorated in shades of white and gold and include air conditioning. They each offer a minibar, free WiFi and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels.
