We arrived too late for a supper at the table d'hôte, but breakfast was lovely, fresh breads and home-made jellies, coffee/tea. The welcome was in - Perfect location to experience a small village and explore surrounding vineyards, cities and historic towns. The owners are exceptional hosts and the property is inviting and comfortable. The owners are former chefs and the optional dinners are a culinary experience, in addition to providing an opportunity for interesting conversation. Worth going out of the way to stay here - but book early because Domaine du Griffon has a well deserved reputation with French and international travelers.
