The Tamaris was a great hotel to stay on a small budget, great room with ample facilities and a very cosy ambience. I would definitely recommend it for its excellent location (less than 2 minutes from the nearest metro station) and cheap rates!. Very friendly staff, plenty of free street parking. Somone commented lift is small which is true but having stayed in over 20 paris hotels this is the same with the majority, get used to it!.
所有评语 » The staff was nice and I felt save. The hotel also was very accomodating in terms of storing luggage for me while I was away. it is close to metro. It is in a quiet street within less than 5 minutes walk from the nearest Metro station. The hotel was small but the room was clean and comfortable.Location was fine, staff very friendly and helpfull. rooms adequate. Friendly personnel; wifi available in the lounge. Only the price that is low, but in the neighbourhood offer better comfort for almost same price. Opening hour of the reception. Good stuffs and provided the services as good as they can do for you. This hotel is just a poor quality hotel, and the price is too high.Close Proximity to the Metro Station. it was very close to a metro stop.One way system has been changed in january 2008 so all maps and sat navs cannot get you there! enter via "rue de pyrennes" (if is pelt it correct) off cours de vincennes Breakfast very basic - as with most hotesl better quality in the cafes for less or same money. The only reason I did not vote "excellent" for all of the points is that the hotel was undergoing construction while I was there and that affected the cleanliness, comfort, and services/facilities available tremendoulsy. The staff however was aware of the inconvenience and tried to compensate in other ways. Room was larger though then other more expense hotels in the area.There was no power point in my room, other than that for the TV. This was about 7 feet (2 metres) from the floor and difficult to reach. They allowed smoking in the hotel and there was some ventilation connection between ours and the next room; when there was a smoker next door our room smelt like an ash tray which was disgusting.Breakfast was meager. 1 croissant and 1 roll, 1 piece of butter and 1 jamcup per person. No choices to make except coffee or tea. No plates. Mainly the hotel personal does not speak any other language than French, and if so, than it si no willing to speak other language than French. Mess is allaround especially in public area of the hotel, the worst is the courtyard.Access difficult to the room. bad facilities ,,breakfast terrible. Small room, small bed, very compact toilet, very thin wall,. The Hotel is real creepy. The Period Lift in the hotel is so small that barely 2 people with luggage can fit. The fire alarm went off at 6 in the morning on one of the days by mistake. Breakfast for the cost of 8 Euros was pathetic and was not even a buffet. Doesnt have nethin good except the location. Room walls are very thin and could well enuff hear all that what was goin on in neighbourin room. it was dirty and nightshift staff does not speak english.
