The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The room we had was on the top floor and had sloped, garret style ceilings. It was charming. The bathroom was a good size and very clean. The location is wonderful. Overall, it seems to be a reasonably priced hotel comparatively to the rest of the Paris market. It was also very quiet even though it is in a busy, nightlife area. Loved the location of the hotel. Fantastic area with easy access to the rest of Paris. Didn't really see much of the staff but the guys on reception were always very friendly and helpful. Great hotel! Will definitely be back!.
所有评语 » At check-in , the girl was amazingly nice. Room was well over expectations and besides being very well located, the room itself was lovely and had lots of charm! Value for money +++. I would definitely book this hotel again!. Room was clean, our things were not moved or disturbed during our stay, front desk was always friendly and available, great central location close to Pompidou, good restaurants and food around. Hotel de la Bretonnerie has a charming quality with updated bathrooms. The rooms are very comfortable, and the location is close to the Seine and Notre Dame. The staff and our room reasonable size for Paris room. Location the nearest metro stop is a direct line on 1. Connections to every other metro line. Friendly, reasonably priced, comfortable. Great location. Decor is a bit ornate but that's all part of the fun. Lovely base for a short stay. My second time at this hotel. This time the room was smaller, but with a large poster bed and a good sized bathroom. Nice decor in the room. Location was great-close to metro, lots of shopping on Sunday, staff so helpful with restaurant reservations. Bathroom was very nice. perfect freindly suroundings for a gay couple- many resturants and bars of good freindly atmosphere in the suranding Marais area. The location was amazing. I slept too well in the bed. All of the staff were very friendly. Did I say amazing location?!?!. Also cheaper to eat and drink in this area. The Chambres Charmant offer good sized rooms for Paris. Convenient location and a nice breakfast. I liked the design and location. The room was quite small (hardly any floor space around the bed) and the bedding/linens were a bit old and uncomfortable. On the evening preceding our last day, the young guy working at reception was not nice. As soon as we picked our key to go back to our room, he asked us to settle the bill. He was also eyeing us the whole time and made us feel uneasy. Too bad, because the hotel is way amazing !!!. Some limited noise outside, but no major complaints. Because it is located right in the city (which gives it its convenience), the location also leads to quite a bit of noise from the street. However, if you close the windows, the noise is very tolerable. We needed a printer and the only one available didn';t work with our computer program(available for free in lobby). It's a bit annoying that they do not accept AmEx. We had a junior suite which was nice and roomy. However, bedroom was upstairs, bath down. At our mature age, it proved a bit more difficult. Does not accept american express I wasn't made aware of this until check out. The shower was hand held and not fixed to wall and the piano playing in the morning in the room above !!!. I didn't like the blanket. I think that they need to change their bed covers. All hotels are using new bed covers and their are old brown blankets. Nothing. Continual noise of furniture moving and heavy footsteps from the room above, at all hours of day and night. Perhaps redecoration. the junior suite loft was extremely hot (especially the upper area). It would benefit from AC. Typically French small rooms with no air conditioning! Didn't realize windows opened until the last night. Saw a cockroach while packing!!!. Cramped room. No air conditioning. The standard rooms are small. No A/C (obviously, more relevant during the summer time). The standard room was a bit too small. a reading chair or small couch in the large sitting room would be nice. no proper shower only baths..difficult to go in and out really expensive chiefly on week ens (29 euros difference in price) lack of international channels tv most are french. We did not dislike any thing. This hotel was a big disappointment! The attitude of the reception staff could best be described as cool. We just did not feel at all welcome. We arrived in the middle of a heat wave, the rooms were not airconditioned and we sweltered at night. Mostly the problem here is personnel related which was such a contrast to the hotel we stayed at two weeks previous ( Hotel de Seine). When I was in Paris the temperature was in the 90's(F), the building had no air conditioning, and I was on the fourth floor. Opening the window and using the table fan helped a little, but I got very little sleep the one night I stayed at this hotel. I would recommend this hotel to others but suggest that you consult the weather forecast before booking. no air conditioning.
