Excellent location, close to metro and 15 minutes walk from the city center, Bastille square just 500m away. As a person who has lived in Paris, I would recommend this hotel for it's excellent location to much about everyone. You get 3* for your money, which cannot be said very often about hotels in Paris. Extremely friendly staff, excellent location, one minute walk to Gare du Lyon, spacious room, rare in Paris, excellent value for money.

I can't believe I found such a cheap gem in this expensive Parisian city.Location of the hotel was very good. Bed comfortable. Room clean. Everything! the hotel is well situated, right across exit 1 of Gare de Lyon, rooms are correct in size and well equipped, the internet is very reliable and works well and the price is appropriate to expectations (25 Euros cheaper than a hotel of its category). Only room was very small, but it was not problem for us. We think its good value for the position of the hotel, price and other positive things.I liked this hotel. The floor of our room was a little bit dirty. The only thing I didn't like was that the breakfast wasn't included and I had to pay 8 euro and I didn't think it was so good, especially for the price. The famous croissants weren't enough for everybody and they didn't put more and the other bread was't soft. There are nice places around for about the same price. but I still would recomend it. No, for a 3 star hotel at its price level, it was quite acceptable.Possibly more suited to younger people, as when we stayed there were alot of youngsters there. Very poor sound insulation between our room andbathroom in adjacent room, but not a great problem.Extremely small room and bathroom. Everything was good, no problems whatsoever.I thnk that they could make the room look pleasant by putting up pictures on the wall although that is not what is really necesary for one's comfort!. needs new carpeting. No onw speaks English at the hotel. You must improve this. Rooms could be a little bigger. Plastic cover on matress. Very compact but ideal for a short stay.small lift. The smell in th bathroom. decor of lobby: small rooms; thin walls. It didn't affect our stay but visual features of room could be improved, (e.g. a proper I'd suggest there should be a toilet roll holder rather than the dispenser like you see in public toilets, more light in the room, magnification mirror in bathroom) I believe those small visual things would make it feel more 3 star.pay for b fast, sort of ugly. the lift was small, and so as a disabled person i found it had to manouvre, both myself and my tri walker...let alone luggage to the room.Also, actually getting the room was quite an experience, in that firstly they could find no recollection of my booking, then the first room they gave me, was (to their surprise, as well as mine)already occupied, and the next choice wason the 5th floor.very small room for €96. for given room rate and location all is in due order.
