  I expected less based on reviews (with all due respect to previous reviewers), but surprisingly staff was very service, polite and helpful, also room & bathroom were restored, neat and very clean.   Hotel Langlois was so much better than we hoped. First time to Paris and had read a lot of feedback about small rooms, uncomfortable, hot, noisy rooms. Also Gare St Lazare was not far away ... and to arrive at Hotel Langlois - we walked with - The hotel is situated close to 2 metro stations, and close to Montmartre. The hotel itself is in an old Parisian building and the whole feel of the place is like something out of the `Belle Epoch`period. The room was very big ( by Parisian standards) and the beakfast was good, with fresh fruit, fresh orange juice, and a good selection of bread, meat and cheese. It is only 10 minutes by taxi from the Gare du Nord and there was free wi-fi available. All in all a very nice traditional French hotel

  The location of this hotel is perfect- next door to Gare Saint Lazare, which is a central metro/RER station. The location makes it very easy to get around Paris, especially when travelling with a child.
