  I expected less based on reviews (with all due respect to previous reviewers), but surprisingly staff was very service, polite and helpful, also room & bathroom were restored, neat and very clean.   The hotel is very close to Rome Metro Station which makes getting around very easy. Although the bathroom was small, with a separate toilet it was quite adequate with a good shower and plenty of hot water.
