  Stayed overnight en route from the Dordogne back to the UK. The Chateau is only a few kilometres off the motorway - yet is delightfully quiet. Greeted enthusiastically by the owner who provided a tray of tea for outside. The family dog joined us shortly afterwards and was equally welcoming.   This hotel was very different to most we have stayed at. It was uniquely special. We were effectively welcomed into the owners' home (which is a very grand castle) and treated as a member of their family for the duration of our stay. Wonderful, gourmet food which was plentiful and served by the very friendly staff. We also loved the free flowing drinks in the beautiful lounge area prior to our evening meal and met some lovely people at that time. A stunning chateau hotel and one which we would love to return to.

  Arrived after a very long motorbike ride. The welcome was friendly rooms were great. has its own restaurant and bar so no need to go out for anything! Food excellent owner very helpful and good company! Had a glass or two with him after the meal. We could not have chosen a better hotel. We plan to return in August on way to Southern France. - Just a simple hotel, good beds and linnen. Friendly staff. Bar open till late and drinks are very affordable.
