  Staff was great, they picked us up from the ap as we arrived late and were unfamiliar with the location- tho as other reviewers state it really is an easy 7 minute walk (we timed it the next day). We enjoyed a quiet night and woke well rested.   The facilities were very modern, warm, comfortable (high quality bedding) and spotlessly clean and the service was wonderful. (Much better than the 5 star we had stayed in at Opatija the previous week). We arrived very early (well before check-in) and were greeted by our friendly host with a nice hot cup of coffee. We needed to catch a flight very early the following day - We were very happy, just to begin with, we arrived into Zagreb almost at 11 pm, we called into Ikar guest house and Marco the kind owner picked us up at the airport; the following day he dropped us to pick up our car at the airport; he really went out of his way to accommodate us. He asked us what time we wanted to have breakfast and had it ready for us !, it was simple but plenty of food: coffee, juice, bread with jelly and butter and also a bid platter with cheese and ham. We loved it so much

  It is so close to the airport but we didn't hear any planes as they don't fly overnight. The hostess was amazing - so helpful and friendly and provided free breakfast and good coffee even though this wasn't meant to be included. The rooms were lovely and so quiet. The restaurant acr - We stayed at room Pleso for one night because we had to take a flight very early in the morning and the guest house is very close to the airport (5 minutes walk). The owner is a very nice person, very helpful. The room was simple but clean and comfortable, the bathroom also very clean and convenient. Outside of the main house there is a little veranda were you can have coffee/tea. As our stay wasn't originally planed (our flight had been cancelled the day before so we had to stay one more night

  Having worked for a well known brand of hotel provider in the uk, I was immediately impressed with the attitude of all the staff towards the customer. They take the attitude of promoting the company they work for by really putting that little bit extra into their roles. The chef came into the dining room to ask if food was ok. All such little extras were high - The staff were so welcoming, professional and helpful. We arrived late in the evening and the chef came out to ask if we were hungry and, although he was right at the end of his shift he cooked us the most amazing steak dinner! The young guy on reception was so helpful too - while we were waiting with a drink he came over and asked us what time we needed a shuttle service to the airport and whether we would like breakfast in the restaurant, our bedroom or packed up for us! The room was perfect

  There were 7 of us. We needed a place near the airport in Zagreb because we were flying in from Dubrovnik at night and had early morning international flights. This B&B was perfect. Five minutes from the airport. Large, comfortable, clean, quiet rooms. His mom fixed us a nice breakfast. would HIGHLY recommend this B&B. Note, it is not near downto - For a layover it was minutes from the airport. We arrived after checkin time due to travel issues and the owner was so friendly and stayed up and offered us some snacks as everything was closed. Very lovely staff and was a shame we were only there for a night to rest our head.
