  The hotel is located away from the craziness of Old Town Dubrovnik, so it is quiet and peaceful. The design of the hotel is well-thought out, and much attention has been paid to making it pleasing to the eye. Everything is done tastefully, and the place is sparkling clean. She arranged for bag lunches to be ready for us when we took an early day trip to Montenegro, and next day arranged a very good deal on a rental car which made for a spectacular day.

  The apartments were really lovely. Clean and six of us stayed in a two bed apartment, using the sofa bed in the Lounge. The landlady and her daughter were extremely hospitable and provided fresh juice and cake on arrival. They also left us treats occasionally, which was sweet. There was construction of the road going on directly outside - We had the opportunity due to a schedule change to stay in two different places in Dubrovnik: Lapad and then up the hill close to the Old Town area. The host is friendly and acts as a guide by leaving maps, discounts for some businesses in town, and explaining historical/practical things about dubrovnik. There are shopping malls (food, bakery, ...) in the direct environment, which is good since there is no breakfast optio - Ante is a kind and genuine host, gives a great introduction to the apartment and the surroundings. Answers any questions you may have and offers a very comfortable place to rest and relax after walking around all day. Highly recommend these apts to anyone visiting Dubrovnik. The new town is only a 5 min bus ride from this apt and 10min walk to the bus station.

  We loved our stay at Boninova. We arranged to leave our bags early on the day of our booking as we were leaving our boat trip. This was not a problem, and Fadilo was even waiting for us as the local bus pulled up right outside. On our return late that afternoon our bags were in our lovely bright room. A 15 minute walk into the old city p - Spacious, high ceilinged and well furnished rooms which are clean and comfortable with an excellent host make House Boninovo the ideal base for a Dubrovnik city break. Located just a short walk from the old town (although the bus stop is right outside if you're feeling a bit lazy!), you can take in the beautiful Dalmatian coastline as you have breakfast on the Guesthouse's balcony each morning. Fadila, the owner, is extremely hospitable and arranged a transfer from the airport when we arrived.

The apartment is huge and even has a washing machine and full kitchen. But the best thing is the view.   Hostess was wonderful--very friendly and accommodating. The bedroom was gorgeous, charming and comfortable. It is located in an older building that is being refurbished and we loved being able to see all the old original tile/marble/etc, although some people might consider that a negative.
