  The couple that manned the desk are very friendly and accommodating. They helped coordinate our adventures on the Li River, taxis, and provided great information for a great time on the Yangshuo town.   We had booked 2 nights in a hotel in town (reviewed as quiet one) and 2 nights at Village Retreat and we wish we had spent all our days here! So much nicer to trade the awful Chinese disco sounds and scooter alarms in the morning for the ballads of birds and frogs, the perfect place to relax after all the cities!
