We loved the ambience! There was a young man playing the sax right under our window when we arrived and it was magical. When we entered the room there was a wood smell from the fireplace. It was heaven! We totally enjoyed our stay. I loved the big windows, the curtains and the bathroom door - these things make your hotel a different experience. Put that with the clean room, friendly staff and location - you have a winner.
所有评语 » The room they initially gave me was small and confining but, upon request, they gave me a much better one. There was a very nice coffee bar in the lobby. Great style. Old building which kept it's character but was still clean and nicely furnished. Perfect location in downtown Victoria. Everything was excellant. As we were leaving the desk manager came out and loaded our car and got ice for a small cooler. It was the perfect place to rest your head - clean - friendly - close to everything - good value. location, close to Harbour and city facilities Style Helpful and happy staff. Excellent location, could walk everywhere once the car was parked. Beautiful room with fireplace and some great character. great staff - very friendly! comfy bed. in the middle of downtown. Location. location. Location. location was great, very clean rooms, setting and furnishings. Location, location... Budget friendly. Quiet once in room, clean. Loved the location!. Location of hotel. Great location for shopping, restaurants, waterfront and sights! Room was clean, quaint and comfortable. It met our needs!. The location is good right downtown. Two blocks from the harbour. Nothing I hated it. The inconvenience of being moved to another room, but the hotel treated us very nicely. We were also bothered by people stopping to talk right under our window in the middle of the night. But that was also part of the ambience of being in the heart of the city. bit noisy with the pub downstairs- good thing I had earplugs!. There was a leak from the suite above us and the staff wasn't equipped or even inclined to do anything about it. Judging by the damage to the ceiling, the leak had been ocurring for some time. Wish parking was easier. Lot used is about 2 blacks away and closes at 9:00pm. room rather small and no view (not that it really mattered for this trip) - could have paid extra for a 'Harbour View'. bed was not very comfortable, certainly could do with upgrading. Otherwise our room was fine. Uncertain wifi service but not that important to us. No concerns. circuit breaker blew when using hair dryer and air conditioner at the same time. Bit on the old side. Needs renovating. nothing. old, staff not very friendly but not bad, power went out everytime i blow dryed my hair. Sink was leaking in the first room and the toilet plugged in the second room. Noisy throughout the night. Front desk clerk - unpleasant, clearly did not enjoy her job very small room - deceptive advertising pictures. Roomtemperature was too low. It was cold even though an extra heater was installed. Nothing. One thing is the parking .... You have to park a block away from the hotel... Unfortunately it was a bad experience the room was old the hot water not strong .clean but the bed was small for a couple also the location was near a loading area and there were noises all the night I couldn't sleep at all and I paid 200 for a night I'm so mad they ripped me off.
