The room was very clean. Carpet always bothers me as to when it was last cleaned as they pick dark colors but everything was clean. It was quiet for sleeping but the a/c was a bit noisy as with any a/c. The pine furniture was nice. We felt safe and the it was the lowest price for a nice clean place. Great location. small fridge was really handy and there was an iron and ironing board for wrinkled suit case clothes. Also a full length mirror was nice.
所有评语 » We needed a clean place to stay for the night as we were driving through. We wanted a place where we could have a room and our daughter, partner and baby could have a suite at a very reasonable rate. It was everything we could have asked for...clean, friendly, at ground level with entrances right at parking lot level. Queen suite on 1st floor was excellent for my aging father with 2 older daughters - large enough to move about, no stairs, freshly painted and decorated. We really enjoyed the pool Breakfast was adequate - we supplimented it with eggs and fruit and it was great. I enjoyed the convenience of the location--right downtown in Vernon and right across from my meeting venue. The staff were helpful and the breakfast was quaint and enjoyable. I will definitely be staying here the next time my business travels take me to Vernon. Perfect location, there is Safeway next to the property. Loved the breakfest. Room equiped with microwave and fridge and TV. The pool, jacuzzi and BBQ unfortunately did not work that time of our stay but it must be perfect to be there in the summer!. the value for the money was great. This motel has been around for a good number of years, we were in Vernon for business and arrived at the room at midnight and we were gone by 9 am daily, so for our needs it was terrific. Friendly clean motel was downtown away from highway noise but near shopping and amenities. Very helpful staff and light continental breakfast included helped get our day started well for touring. enjoyed the area where Schell was located...downtown on 35th Ave....lots of revitalization in the area....lots of shops and yet not on the main "drag". Close to the park, etc. If anyone consider the price they pay for their stay in this motel, then they should be really happy for the service and facilities provided. Location, price, friendly staff, pool, quiet grounds, full kitchens ( nice to not have to go out every night ). Outdoor pool shaded by trees and nice and warm, hot tub was good. Rooms are air conditioned. Clean and roomy. Clean, excellent staff very very friendly , comfortable, no partying so great sleep and awesome prices. Overall I like the stay. I liked the little suite, it was well equipped. The location is ideal as it is close to down town. Amenities are walking distance or a short drive away. Room was adequate, if a little tired. We had a ground floor room which was great. Didn't use pool area but seemed nice. WiFi worked satisfactorily. Staff was friendly. I was just staying overnight so I didn't need the kitchen facilities, but if I needed it, they were very good. Hotel was ok for the money, close to downtown and beach. Safeway is across the street. Not sure how clean the carpet was and the bathtub was old and looked dirty but did not feel dirty I think it was just discolored. For 85CAD per night I would still stay there again and this was our 2nd time already. The breakfast had no yogurt, just cereal toast coffee tea and juice. I wanted a yogurt cup for breakfast - I think they should have them. Happened to arrive early in the day during work hours and had noise from pool cleaning staff at end of season, but temporary inconvenience only. Needs a few updates, the shower is sometimes hard to turn on. It is in good shape just starting to show its age. All was really great. :). Redeveloping town centre start work early right outside hotel job to find entrance to hotel because of detours from road works not motels fault. Needs some updating everywhere, breakfast area isn't a very good set up, they need a bit more space to make it easier to put down a plate and for the morning staff to refill!. The hot tub was not in operation. Fruit or yogurt would have been appreciated with the breakfast. not their problem but streets under construction made it difficult to find.. trying to locate due to lots of construction in the area. Construction outside. Foosty odour in room. the appearance of the back side..needs a little tlc and the pool needs to be cleaned around the edges...other than that it was nice and relaxing.. SHAW CABLE service - The remote control for the TV does NOT have a functioning MUTE BUTTON or VOLUME CONTROL. B A D D D !!! Who ever heard of such a thing ?. parking due to workers. smoky room. No problems from my end. Hard to get to. I could hear the guy coughing in the room next to me. It was a little dated. I do not like the locking system for the doors of the rooms, it is not secure. Breakfast was very basic so we skipped it. Area had very few eateries although supermarket was over the road. No laundry service on premises - one was a short drive/walk around the corner. For a quick over night stay, it was way too expensive. Paid $125 with tax. In the ad it said breakfast, it was a very limited continental breakfast. Staff was parking in the premium spots, my wife has MS and she had to walk across the parking lot as the maids parked in front of our unit.... The facilities need updating as it is really showing it's age. Bathroom window easy access if anyone wanted to break in. Springs on one side of mattress were worn to the point it sloped. Needs upgrading and good cleaning both inside room and outside. Room was quite small, not a lot of room to walk around. A bit outdated and had a few bugs. We got a large number of insect bites in the room, possibly bed bugs. We wrote them and they did respond that they have a bed bug protocol. WIFI did not work after Fri. night. Late time breakfast. they use a cheap run down room that we would not stay in to upgrade you to a fair one for $30.00 more. I was sneezing a lot inside the room. No Front Desk service available after mid night. Hotel seemed old and run downed. Problem reaching due to construction...not the fault of the hotel. The outside was unkempt -the common areas old and shabby. The most Uncomfy bed I have slept in! Clock didn't work, coffee maker didn't work,bathroom plug didn't work.I would not recommend it at all. Everything was below standard. uncomfortable bed, old furnature, leaky plumbing in bathroom, old tv,old alarm cloack.
