Initially, we were made aware, that the hotel was fully booked out, but the friendly hotel staff was searching for an alternative for one night. This alternative turned out to be an extraordinary experience in one of the Middle Beach Lodges. For the remainder of our stay, the extremely friendly mana - The hotel is well located, close to Tofino, but on the park side of it. A handy feature is that the hotel includes boat tours at a discount for whale-watching and to the hot springs, which was advantageously priced for customers. The room itself was more than a room, but really a suite, equipped with a king-sized bed. There was a stove, and a fridge, and a little porch where one could eat.   Wow what a fabulous place. I couldn't believe how big our suite was, more like an apartment.We had a full kitchen as well. The seating area was really comfortable and we had views over the harbour. It was very clean and comfortable with lovely decor and furniture and outstanding views across the Pacific ocean. The staff and proprietors were lovely, kind and helpful. We would not hesitate to recommend Himwitsa Lodge. Tofino is a lovely unspoilt place and we hope it remains so. Being from England, we didn't even mind the heavy rain.

The location is unbeatable in my opinion, right in the little town of Tofino, close to the water. Grocery store, bakery, gallery, wharf, nice restaurant, all within a block. A Saturday public market two blocks away. Amazing. There is a lounge area for preparing food which allows guests to interact if desired and feel connected to the others in the hotel. Location is unbeatable for what we wanted!

  Great and Helpful Staff. Very close to the water and in the core of Tofino. It was the perfect location for my stay (attending a local wedding 5mins away). Room was very clean. Price was very fair given the location (co-op food store is right across the street, water and pier are half block away, bank on corner, post office on adjacent corner,... 别人怎么说 » liquor store is right behind the hotel, many great restaurants all within a 5min walk). Coffee is on from 0800hrs to 1100hrs daily. Schooner Pub is - We arrived very late - 11-45pm. The office had closed at 8-30pm and so we were unable to check in. However, the keys to our room were left for us to collect. Very good service.

It would be perfect for longer stay as there's full kitchen in the suite and washing machine and drier which was very handy after being in the rain.
