I love the location of Ocean Village - right on the beach, with a wonderful view of the ocean and islands. The cabins are well equipped, and linens can be changed as often as you wish. Staff are friendly and always ready to help. Must love the place as I've been back on a fairly regular basis since 1985, when my late husband and I first discovered it., Noticed my cabin had been upgraded with new kitchen, bed, and bathroom.
所有评语 » - Perfect location, only steps away from the beach which urges for an evening stroll on MacKenzie Beach each night! ;-) - great value for your money. These cottages are much cheaper to rent then on most other resorts on the beach. Still everything you need is there. Perfect place for people looking to relax and unwind. Beautiful views of the ocean and beach. Sounds of waves all night. Couldn't ask for more. Staff were just as awesome. I definitely will recommend this to family and friends. Full ocean views with walk out to the beach. Great coffee. Individual heating controls were very nice considering the dampness. Wonderful trail through the rain forest. Have always loved Mackenzie beach but this was my first time at Ocean Village. Lovely, cozy cabins, perfect location and pet friendly. Would definitely come back!. Lovely private cottages right next to the ocean. Excellent pool, indoors. Short drive/bike ride to local tofino for surfing, kayaking, whale watching etc. Situated on Mackenzie Beach the views from our unit were breathtaking - a very wild and natural west coast shoreline. On the ocean- chalet style. Small kitchen. Great view with a great beach for taking walks. Very peaceful. The upgrades to the entire facilities and cabins were great. They really did a great job. location on the beach, view, access to local sites. Everything was perfect.Nothing bad to say!!. NIce, quiet and peaceful. No tv is good. Proximity to the beach. Newly renovated. Dog friendly and people fyienfly. Location on the beach j. Nice cedar chalets. peace and quite. location. The cottage was clean and functional with acceptable kitchen furnishings. Location of the cottages access to the beach and ocean was very good. Wifi was available if you brought your own electronics. Nice grilling area. Great place. very nice bungalow. I liked the well equipped kitchen although the oven didn't close properly and was dangerous. Members of our family were also at the resort and it was a good place to gather. Loved the pool and appreciated the change area and towels. Only thing that would have made it perfect was if there had been a comfy chair to sit and read my book when the weather turned bad and I was drying off after a beach walk in the rain. - A walk to Tofino town may just be a little bit too far for most people. But by bicycle and car you're there within 10 minutes. Other than some early morning noise from our upstairs neighbours, I have nothing to complain about!. Family resort ideal for young families ... can be a little noisy during the day with the kids having fun. Would have been nice to have a fireplace. The toilet paper holder should be moved closer to the bathroom door. It was a bit difficult to access. Everything else was great. slow internet. The internet connections suck. Needed a longer shower curtain. The bed was too high. Far from town. nothing. Beds are very uncomfertable. A small television would be nice for the evenings. It would be nice to have a clock/radio (brought my own). Very rustic furnishings like wood table and benches in kitchen. Had poor soundproofing in the upper/lower cottages. Needed larger window in the kitchen area to enjoy the ocean view. Disastrous internet! must absolutely do something. The rooms were grungy and have seen their best before date. Beds were comfortable, sheets and pillows were clean but the coverings were shoddy. Having said this I can understand how difficult it is to run a facility where there are so many children, and especially close to a beach.
