The rooms were beautiful and the staff felt like family by the time we left. It was less than a 5-minute drive into the town of Niagara-on-the- Lake, but it just removed enough that you felt like you were in the country, surrounded by vinyards. The few times we ate in their dining room, the food was very good and, of course, they had a wonderful selection of local wines. All in all, a wonderful choice!.
所有评语 » The room was spacious and well appointed, with a lovely view of the vineyards and Niagara area.. The location was great - across the way from the Niagara parkway walking path, right along the river - great for a wakeup walk in the morning! Pleasant restaurant with good food and service (a bit expensive, but many of the restaurants in the area are as well). The facilities were absolutely beautiful and the room was more than we expected. The restaurant and bar were just as beautiful and the staff were friendly and attentive. Lovely experience and would highly recommend it to others. We definitely plan to go back again. The Inn has a Victorian feel with elegant decor and the Restaurant at the Inn serves delightful meals with a view of the vineyards. I would most certainly recommend this stay for anyone who wants to spoil themselves a bit. Rooms were very well appointed and the view overlooking the vineyards was impressive. Location, location, location! Everything about the Inn was "first class!". *Liked overlooking the vineyard. *The gazebo for romantic meals. Beautiful inn very clean close to town. Location overlooking vineyards was peaceful; close enough to walk to the Shaw Festival Theatre. Staff very friendly, helpful. Forgot a piece of clothing on departure and staff tracked us down. Amazing view great restraunant Easy to get to lots of parking. Well decorated. The bed was way too soft. Inn staff did not appear to be very engaged or interested. And the noise from the check in area seemed like it was right in our bed! When I mentioned this to the lady behind the desk in the morning as we were checking out, she just shrugged, and said that the inn was "accoustic" and that the sound travels up to the second floor. Maybe they could ask guests to speak quietly in the evening. . Wasn't anything we didn't like. No entertainment. Just a nice place to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. We were kept awake by walking and bathroom from the guest directly above us. I would like to be able to request a floor before making reservations. We may try a different Inn, when we come back. Beds not comfortable; webs hanging from wall and ceiling in room. Overall too pricy for what this supposedly luxurious inn offered. Rooms need some updates and attention to detail. Front desk service was awful. No sound insulation between suites meant you could hear everything that was happening in the rooms around you.
