A wonderful hotel tucked into a cobblestone street in Old Town! Giant rooms and hot tub big enough for two was a real plus on cold nights (and days)! I will stay here the next time I am in Quebec City. Great value, too. LOVED IT!! - The staff were very helpful with any requests and the buffet breakfast was delicious with great fresh choices.

Port Royal is a fantastic hotel located in the heart of basse-ville (lower town). Our room 105 had original stones and wood beams dating from 1700´s. BEd is very comfortable, room decór is sooting and chic (shantung curtains, ceiling painted in grey-brown). Bedroom has a built in kithchenette very convenient. Hotel bar is really cool too. Location, location, location.... In the heart of Quebec. We stayed in the recently remodeled room 36 on the 3rd floor. Small, but cozy and quiet. Steps were no problem. A/C is quiet. We took their package deal for one day only. It included 2 breakfasts and dinners with a bottle of wine @ Restaurant 1640 downstairs and 1 day paid parking. What a great deal! Food is delicious and service is outstanding. Information center is next door.
We definitely will stay there on our next trip.

I loved being in a historical building and yet all modern amenities were at my fingertips I liked having a valet because parking was an issue and understandably so in such a rich historical city. .Most importantly, the hostess unexpectedly, upgraded our room to the loft and I thought I was in heaven. I have never stayed in such a luxurious suite. I didn't want to get out of the bed in the morning. Merci bien!

What is there to say about the Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac. The place is pure luxury and is a tourist attraction in it's own right!!!
Of course you pay for the privilege of staying there but l had to do it once and now l have every intention of doing it again. Staff are magnificent....they should all take a bow!!
