It was our first time in Quebec and of course we had a fabulous stopover prior to our cruise. Indeed my husband and I loved our room and your quaint hotel. Charming ambiance complimented by the delightfully amiable and caring young lady at the front desk who kindly answered any questions we had. The chic décor of our room was lovely and the spa like shower was just what I needed! Breakfast was delicious, and the server was pleasant.
所有评语 » Our room looked like it had just been remodelled with 5* quality. For an old building it was First Class. And when we left our small radio behind the staff retrieved it and mailed it off to us and it was back home when our vacation ended. Very impressed. Thanks. My room was beautiful with an amazing view and was very comfortable. The breakfast included was able to be chosed off a menu and was great. There was fresh lemonade in the lobby every afternoon. It was very close to both the upper and lower old city. The room was lovely, well laid out and nicely decorated. Those thick stone walls are a wonderful sound barrier, couldn't hear a thing from outside even with cars driving directly below us. We arrived by train, a 5 minute walk if you take your time. The reception looks ordinary; the room was fantastically modern. The food was very good and friendly in the adjoining restaurant. Location especially good if arrive by ship. Farmer's Market across street lively and charming. Good location in Old Town Quebec. Close to cruise ship terminal (only 15 min walk from the cruise terminal). Breakfast is included with Bookings.com reservation. Room is clean, quiet and pretty good size. Location is excellent, walking distance to many historic sites. Room and bathroom were generally good and clean. Easy Walk to cruise ship terminal and Via rail station. location. The only difficulty we had was the darkness of the room and limited lighting. We are seniors and it was difficult to see in the dark room, let alone read. Perhaps lighter wall would help? Black looks chic but is it functional?. Nothing. There was nothing I didn't like. I had trouble with use of credit cards. Canada has chips which we do not have. ATMs did not work. One shop only took Visa and I had Master Card and AMex. Room is dark ( not enough lightings) at night time. Price was a bit high for quality of facilities. A beautiful historical building so no pool, gym or things such a pop machine. No mini fridge in the room. Had a problem with wireless Internet. Luckily was able to use in restaurant. Wish restaurant had been open Sunday evening as it was raining and didn't want to go out. But it was wonderful for breakfast!. I wish there was a fridge in the room. No room safe. Not much space for toiletries in bathroom. We considered our room could become a death trap in the event of fire. Although fire doors were present, these were left open, and the stairway, an alternative to the lift, was located at the opposite end of an interior corridor. The one window in our room, on the second floor, was double glazed and sealed and would have proved very difficult to exit from in an emergency. no guest computer. we were not satisfied to get a dark and tiny room as a standart offer. So, when you book try to chose another room than stadart as they are really not as good as others. And the difference in price is not that much. As I had to get the 7.45 train and front desk only opens at 7 a.m. I had no time to enjoy breakfast. Other guests were also waiting to Checkout. No fridge in room. The air conditioning was a bit noisy, and i couldn't open the window. These are common problems in medium priced hotels. Evening staff were not overly helpful with assisting us to find a restaurant. Not much, just that the hotel needs some refresh work, like carpets in passages etc. There is no breakfast room, but you can have breakfast only your room. This is not necessarily a comfort... Poor lighting in room, no closet space. The room is quite dark at night. There is sound when walking on the wooden floor. Lack of security prior to evening hours (hotel shares entry with neighboring restaurant). Hotel was fine. Lot of road construction underway and very noisy at 6:30 am. There could be some more/better lights in the rooms. Bathtub tap was dripping. Bed and floors that squeeked. Beds a little hard, the staff was present but could have been a little more professional...they seemed a little disinterested. No tub in the bathroom in my room. To boast a view is not realistic!. Toilet broke and they did not fix or offer compensation. For two days we filled the toilet with the ice bucket to flush. That said .... I would go back.... Stuff happens. -no one in the office from 11pm til after 7 am -felt unsafe (could be a fire trap) the staircase is not closed by a fire door and could act as a chimney. -everyone was issued a door code to come in after 11pm -no breakfast before 7:30. A bit expensive. Nothing. Bar was closed because change in ownership. tar in the room's carpeting. view. We stayed in room 33 which was very noisy all night long with plumbing and lift noises. We booked in later so were probably given last room available. Lighting in the room was very poor for a couple of oldies. bathroom needs upkeep. paint peeling off walls mold around tub lighting in the room insufficient. paid too much for what we got.
