We enjoyed our stay very much. This hotel is pet friendly (with no size restriction - we have a 100 lbs dog) which is hard to find ($25 extra per night - standard rate for having a pet). Units are clean and fairly roomy. You can have up to 6 people for the same cost, which is great (2 bedroom townhouses so 2 people would have to use the pullout couch in this case). The units are fairly dated so if you're looking for new televisions, appliances, etc then this isn't for you. They have appliances .
所有评语 » We happened to be stranded in the inn during the recent flooding in Alberta, roads leading to and from Harvie Heights were blocked and water supply to the lodge was cut. The manager Paul was so kind to provide us with bottled water and kept us informed of the situation of the floodings and the road conditions continously. When the road going into Canmore was finally reopened, he volunteered to look for us alternatibe accommodation with water supply. He even reduced the room rate to compens. The design, space and facilities that this accommodation offered suited our requirements perfectly. Downstairs is the living area and upstairs are the bedrooms separated by the bathroom and laundry. The very well equipped kitchen meant we could have some home cooking after eating out for an extended time. Only a few minutes from Canmore made shopping for supplies easy. Also the accommodation was some distance from the rail line which meant it is a lot quieter than accommodation in Canmore. IT . The convenience. You could access the main highway easily but didn't hear the noise. Close to the park gates and Banff was just minutes away. Canmore is close by and had all the services we needed without the higher prices in Banff. The cleanliness of the facility. Lots of parking even for our pickup and our sons jeep. The scenery from ou balcony and front door. The amenities in the condo were very good including the kitchen ware and even a washer and dryer. Beds in each room were very comfy as. A very well designed, spacious accomodation, with pool, gym, washing machine and dryer, dish washer, gas barbeque and a high standard of fixtures and fittings. The suroundings are stunning on the edge of the Rockies, just outside the main national parks and just off the main highway. I can highly recommend this hotel and will certainly return if we are in the area again. Good value for money. Nearby Canmore has a lot to offer. The condo had 2 good sized bedrooms with AC units, the larger of the two had a balcony. The kitchen had a full kitchen with cutlery, glassware, etc for 6; toaster; microwave; coffee maker; dishwasher; etc. There is full size, stacking W & D on the 2nd floor and detergent was provided. Although the condos are on a service road near the highway, we did not experience any road noise. There is lots of parking. As we were 5 people we chose a 2 bedroom suite. It was on two levels and each level had a bathroom. There was a fully equiped kitchen and a small 'living room'. Great little place. The beds were very firm but so comfortable. It's not often you find a commercial bed that gets the kinks out instead of putting them in. My biggest pet peave about hotels are the beds, here, the beds were the main event. Very clean apartment and it was well appointed. We had a balcony with a view of the mountains. I was impressed with the quality if the interior which was tasteful and relaxing. The location is excellent as you are close to the entrance to Banff park so you can be close without paying Banff prices. I will be recommending this place to my friends. Townhouse is very spacious, clean and well stocked. Very quiet environment. Close to Banff and just outside of Canmore. Facility staff very professional and friendly. We did not use the gym facilities or the pool but these were available. We did utilize the bbq for a couple of meals. We are very happy to stay at the Inn of the Rockies! Very quiet, convenient to downtown of Canmore, and the location is just great. The 2-room complex condo offers excellent space for family and we loved the kitchen. Friendly staff and hot tub are another good things to share. Kitchen is great and they have BBQ's to use as well. The 2 storey design is great when travelling with young children, there is 3 t.v.'s so it's great for when the kids can't agree on what to watch. Pool was great and my hubby said the gym was very nice. A home away form home. The townhouse we rented was great! It was a great value for our money and the location was amazing - we drive out the exit back to #1hwy and we're right at the Banff National Park gates. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the place was newer design and clean. Comfortable, modern and spacious house with access to BBQ and great pool / sauna facilities! Location is fantastic also! Staff were courteous and professional! Would be excellent value for a family and i highly recommend it as i would have qualms to stay again! :). Unit 238 had an awesome view of the mountains and everything you need for a 4 day stay. It was very quiet, clean and the manager was very friendly. While we didn't use the hot tub, pool or exercise room, we did take a peek and everything was clean and working. Really liked everything about this place. Right on the doorstep of Banff National park yet close to Canmore's shops and dining. Facilities were great for a group...full kitchen, spacious living room, fireplace, large bedrooms. Nice pool and sauna to relax in. The rooms themselves were perfect for us. The kitchen was great and the fireplace was a nice touch. We loved the fact that the bedrooms upstairs were separated by the bathroom. The staff was very polite and helpful. The rooms were very clean. Location. Lots of room for both couples. If it were renovated it would be good. We would stay again, but, unless it is generally brought up to standard it would be hard to recommend it to others. They may not be able to live with the problems. Great location. I loved fitting my whole family comfortably in a space with a kitchen so that we did not have to eat out all the time. It truly was "home away from home". I would definitely use it again and would recommend it. The quietness is fabulous, gorgeous mountains, closeness to Banff and Canmore without being right in Canmore, lower tax rate than Canmore, comfortableness of being at home but away from home with most things you need. Great value! Very quiet and clean. Pet friendly with only a $25 one time fee for 2 dogs was great! Actually, the manager didnt even charge us the fee! The condo had everything we needed especially for families with young children. We will definitely stay again!. The place is spacious. With kids it's a good place to stay. If you got some of your items, you can use the kitchen as well. Overall, a comfortable place to stay with small kids. The comfort of the apartment, and its easy to find. The manager was friendly and helpful. It was in a quiet area, so peaceful, but in close proximity to Banff and Canmore. Booked here because Banff Boundary Lodge was fully booked. This place is so much better. There is new management there and service and rooms were great. Our unit was perfect for what we needed, enough space for two couples. Good clean beds/sheets. Nice facility with two bedrooms and kitchen. Quiet and a bit away from the town,yet close enough to shopping and recreation. Fairly close to all the tourist sights around Banff, yet we had a nice family accommodation at a reasonable price. 8 yr old liked the beds and bed rooms I liked the size nice to have two bedrooms and a hide-a -bed. Nice and simple place which as able to accommodate our family of 6. Good value for cost. Great value for people needing two bedrooms. Use of kitchen indispensable. Bbq was handy. How close to the park big rooms lots of space had everything staff were very helpful. A really good townhouse, making me feel like home! Perfectly situated for a family... Accomodations were perfect for a weekend with family. Lots of room in the suites. They accomodated us arriving late by leaving the keys in a safe location. Comfortable, quiet, in mountains, Kitchen, BBQ, pools, sauna, good value. Loved that it was between Canmore and banff, made it nice and quiet. LOVED the lay out !! So great to have all the amenities of the unit. Very clean and well maintained. Staff was informative and helpful. Nothing. The pull out sofa needs an upgrade. As a place to sit it was ok but don't try to sleep on it. Well maybe for the kids it would be ok. Not much really apart from a broken hairdryer and a shelf missing from the dish washer. AC on the main floor would have been a welcome relief as our stay co-incided with some warm/hot temperatures. The 2nd bathroom had a shower roughed in, but not completed. There was an odd odor on the main floor, which may have been related to the unfinished plumbing. Unfortunately our stay was a week after the Canmore floods and there was a boil water advisory, which we were not informed about until we arrived. Everything was pretty much perfect except the main bathroom wasn't complete. They were still working on getting the shower up and running. The upstairs bathroom had to cater to 4 of us because of that. Not a huge problem but it meant scheduling bathroom time. The swimming pool was small and the Internet connection in the lobby didn't work. N/A. none. Be aware that the pull out couch is best suited for smaller children to sleep on as the mattress is quite thin, My brother who is a bigger guy said he could feel every little spring through it. The only tiny issue we had was that the hot tub was out of service (but this was out of their hands as parts were wrecked from the recent flooding). That's just a tiny issue. And our backyard wasn't finished landscape-wise (minor as well). Our house did not have any pans or pots to cook with which was a bit of bummer considering we had a full kitchen otherwise!. The beds were ok, but not luxurious. The pull out sofa bed in the living room was not comfortable to sit on for any length of time - sags and difficult to get up from. These 2 things were quite minor to our stay and we would definitely stay again. Our coffee maker didn't work properly, as well us the upstairs toilet - the staff was informed of this upon departure. We did not have any paper towels or napkins in the kitchen and a radio or docking station would have been nice. The hot tub had plumbing issues when we there - bummer!. Very poor maintenance. Back door jammed closed. Back window jammed closed. Chesterfield so old middle seat not really usable. Sagged almost onto floor. Shower in the mail floor bathroom just not there. Only a large hole where it should be. A support beam in the hallway is pushing threough the cieling. The floor in the hall slopes as you enter the room. nothing really. Sofas are outdated, should be leather / mock leather in todays world for cleanlyness. Anything I did not like is insignificant to the value plus they are under new management and the place is undergoing renovations so be understanding!. The front door needs a curtain. We hung up a sheet to cover the window. 1. If you are coming at night, the entry is not lighted. You can easily skip the entry while driving. I suggest them to light the entry road. 2. In 2 bedroom town homes, 2 bath tubs should be provided. It'll save people's time, since these are meant for 6 people's stay and if everyone wants to take a bath, it consumes a lot of time. Pillows were not vet good quality. I was disappointed with the sofa bed in the living room area because it was out of shape. Also, I thought the bed covers were updated like on the picture that's online, but they weren't. The coverage of WI-FI is only in the reception area. No WI-FI in the room which is very inconvenient. Hope they will change that soon. internet was not convenient since it was not located in the vacation home room but was central to only the lobby area. The bed sheets were too small. Need to up date tv. The remote in bedrooms did not work. Wi Fi only working in reception. Hot Tub not in operation. A little away from town so not able to walk to anything. The pool closed too early (9pm) and the hot tub malfunctioned while we were there. The beds were pretty and the pool and hot tub closed too early( 8pm). Hot tub was out of order. Carpet in unit was a bit old/smelly. The couch/hide-a-bed definitely should be retired. Uncomfortable to sit or sleep on. Need wifi in the rooms though there were 3 TVs to make up for it in fairness. The sofa was uncomfortable and no hair dryer. The sign had changed so we found it hard to locate the place. Once we did, everything was smooth. Slow BBQ (not hot enough at HI setting). The sheets on the bed were pretty uncomfortable. the very long walk to the hot tub and not a great one at that,.
