  We had a great stay in Hotel Alpin, occupying one of the chalets with 2 young kids for 6 summer nights. The chalet itself was simple, but clean and reasonably spacious. Staff was excellent, always smiling and helpful. On top of that, majority could speak English so we had no problems getting around.   Borovets We visited Bansko and Pamporovo in summer time and Borovets is the best by far. First, most of the hotels are done building, so the village is quiet and beautiful. Surroundings very nice to walk by, the children found raspberry in woods. Second, it is visited by other tourists, so it is not deserted. The closest city is Samokov, dusty and dull, but with markets such as Billa, pharmacies, banks and change offi - The apartment is elegant and the facilities are excellent. It was close to the main road and about 5 minutes walk to the piste. We stayed at the Clover Apartment. Very comfortable to come back to after a hard day on the piste!
