  We had a great stay in Hotel Alpin, occupying one of the chalets with 2 young kids for 6 summer nights. The chalet itself was simple, but clean and reasonably spacious. Staff was excellent, always smiling and helpful. On top of that, majority could speak English so we had no problems getting around.   Location was fantastic, immediately next to one of the chairlifts so ski-in-ski-out but only for part of the resort. Borovets is divided in 2 parts and acces to each bit from the other is tricky.   Very good for its price. Nice hospitable barkeepers, clean, large enough rooms. Suites with two separate bedrooms would be great for family with children. It isn't located near the slope but main gondola lift is about 300 meters, and main slopes about 7-10 minutes walking. Also, in Borovets there're no any hotels exactly on the slope, so you need to walk 3-5-10 minutes to lift from every hotel. It was close to the main road and about 5 minutes walk to the piste. We stayed at the Clover Apartment. Very comfortable to come back to after a hard day on the piste!   We made a trip to the Euphoria Club Hotel & Spa this past weekend and it was amazing. We received a good deal since it’s off season from the winter months. The rooms are wonderful and best linens I’ve seen in Bulgaria. The spa was great with heated pool, steam room and sauna.
