  We arrived late to the hotel (18hrs) and expected to loose the room and pay for it as well. Not so, we arrived at 5am and there was someone at the front desk. He helped us with the taxi driver and got us into a room right away. Then they only charged us for half of the previous day. Amazing. Thanks so much. Plaza Republico is a good area but the side streets are a bit dodg - Staff was kind and helpful. The room is large, with enough space for everything. It also has a small living room and kitchen attached, which makes it suitable for long stays.
