  Great for the kids, away from town and close to beach. Forgot to come in and mention that the toilet in our apartment (I think we were in 82) had a bit of a leak and the taps were too hard for the kids aged 6 & 9 to turn on in the bathroom and kitchen, a little bit of a pain having to turn them on for them all the time but no biggy!! We were return visitors. ;o) - I found the receptionist on arrival very negative and did not explain the credit card imprint until I asked the question. Gave me map but didn't explain very clearly..took 5 minutes outside in cold weather to orientate myself as it was dark too. On the other hand the receptionist I had in the morning on check-out was very helpful and positive.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the bar is well equipped, food is reasonabl - After months of backpacking we decided to treat ourselves to a bit of luxury, which we definitely got at Margaret's Beach Resort. Even before we arrived the staff were so helpful when we emailed to book a tour, and the welcome we got on arrival was brilliant. The apartment itself was fab and had everything we needed. Would definitely come back and stay for longer next time. Although it is a drive from Margaret river town it is right next to the beach and an all round great spot!!

  The location was fantastic for a couple of geriatric wannabe teenagers. From there one could walk around the river basin, catch a ferry, bus or train. King's Park is a short stroll away, and all forms of shopping are relatively close by. The pool is adequate, and the front counter staff are friendly and helpful. - Friendly and helpful staff. So much better than some of the other places we've stayed in WA in the last 3 weeks. The restaurant is also fantastic, great food and service - we can recommend the Thai chicken and the fillet steak - we wished we could have stayed longer and would definitely return in future.
