  The room had a nice warm feel to it, was spacious and well finished for an older hotel. The bathroom was modern, great facilities in the room including desk and sofa.   Loved the facilities, location, recreational facilities, amenities (even the changerooms and toilets were recently updated in the rec room). I loved all of it, the room was a great size, the meals at the resturont wear delish and great value for money, the staff wear polite and very helpful. Having a long day out then coming back to the room and soak in the spa, then just wall out the door over to the restaurant for dinner was the best did not have to go anywhere it was just all there.
