  Everything about Heyfield Motel and Apartment was fantastic. Of the many motels/apartments I've stayed in, I dare conclude my experience with Heyfield is easily one of my bests. The entire apartment was extremely well-maintain - We (4 adults) stayed in a 2-bedroom self-contained apartment for a night on our way to Sydney. It's a good place for stopover. We used tripAdvisor to get a feel for the accommodation. It was as described, the apartment was clean comfortable and good value. Location is good as it's located on the Esplanade just a short stroll from shops and restaurants. The booking-in staff (guess it was the owners) were very helpful. The pillow-top mattress was awesome, as were the pillows... I've never slept on such a comfortable bed.   We overnighted as we had an early-morn departure the next day. Family (incl 2 grandchildren) joined us for dinner. My 5 yo g-son adored the pasta bolognese and ate every mouthful - he thanked the chef, too. He brought it over when she had around 2 mouthfuls left, and that spurred her to finish it and get her reward. he was just wonderful, and the - We were staying overnight en route to a convention so accommodation was very convenient. Upgraded as it was my husband's birthday which was lovely. Excellent gym and pool facilities for early morning fitness. Evening snack meal great too. Would stay again if passing through with little time to go into city. Also saved on expensive transfer in and out of city which is worth factoring into the equation of overall cost.
