  I loved every part of our stay, the location was excellent with so many options for meals the room was spotless & very comfortable & staff very helpful my daughter loved the pool & shopping in the many shops just a lift ride away.   Loved everything. We booked a studio apartment for 2 nights. Very modern, awesome air conditioning units, a small balcony, sound proof as well, there was construction going across the road but when inside the apartment you can't hear anything. Loved the foxtel in the lounge and also a small tv in the bedroom, excellent well equipped kitchen facili... vad folk säger » ties. We booked here to go to a cirque du soleil show which wasn't even a 10 min walk away and then we had dinner on the waterfront close to the hotel - Lovely apartment, great location that suited our needs perfectly. Close to city, free transport using circle line tram to MCG & city. Etihad Stadium closeby. Mecure suggested Limo transfers from & to airport great value for 3 of us given late night arrival & early morning departure. Appreciated being escorted to our apt by Manager. Will definitely stay again.

  Everything about Heyfield Motel and Apartment was fantastic. Of the many motels/apartments I've stayed in, I dare conclude my experience with Heyfield is easily one of my bests. I booked a 2 bedroom apartment and was first introduced to this incredibly spacious place, complete with 2 bedrooms (1 with a King sized bed; the other with a single and a... vad folk säger » queen), a bathroom, a toilet, a kitchen, and an extremely homely and comfortable living/dining room. The entire apartment was extremely well-maintain - We (4 adults) stayed in a 2-bedroom self-contained apartment for a night on our way to Sydney. It's a good place for stopover. We used tripAdvisor to get a feel for the accommodation. It was as described, the apartment was clean comfortable and good value. Location is good as it's located on the Esplanade just a short stroll from shops and restaurants. The booking-in staff (guess it was the owners) were very helpful.   We stayed at Plum Southbank for one night prior to an over seas trip. It was a convenient location to the Restaurant Tram which we can recommend and easy access back to the airport. We will stay at the Plum Apartments on our next visit to Melbourne and recommend it. - Enjoyed the stay. Would highly recommend if anyone was interested in the f1. Handy to walk into and around the city. Public transport excellent but comfortably covered a lot on foot. We were placed in the apartments next door to The Plum - was still the same management. Room was spotless, excellent facilities and we had a fantastic 270 degree view of the city scape - magic at night.

  The internet photos were a true representation of a lovely, modern, clean, stylish motel. The water features around the property were a lovely touch. The pillow-top mattress was awesome, as were the pillows... I've never slept on such a comfortable bed.   We stayed in a king room with a bay view. It was most excellent. The staff was very friendly and even offered to carry our luggage to the second floor. We also enjoyed the pub and dinner. Also clear the owners are investing in some upgrades with new carpeting and some appointments. The kitchen was so well kitted out, and the reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Port Fairy is such a little town, so the fact that they're not located right at the beach doesn't even count as a negative! A+!! we will come back for another weekend away.

We got directions from a tradesman and then it was easy going.   It was fabulous to discover it was only a two minute walk around the corner to the Regent's Theatre. Perfect when we went to Melbourne to see King Kong.   Great location for my purposes. Good on site parking at reasonable rates. Rooms are comfortable and nicely re-furbished. This is a comfortable value for money hotel with good access to Prahran eateries and very conveniently located on St Kilda Road which makes it very easy to tram in and out of town. We were not met on our late arrival despite prior notice to this effect although the Manager was obviously keeping an eye out for us from his residence because he did eventually appear.   Everything. Functional design, very clean, no motel smell, little touches like chocolates and individual soaps for each, wi fi internet and FoxTel, etc. One of the best motels we have stayed at. The little luxuries don't cost much, but make all the difference.The next cabin we stayed at for same price had old, worn and dirty and broken things and ... vad folk säger » a tiny TV screen, advice to turn the lights off to save energy, and a warning that if we didn't leave it clean and tidy there would be a cleaning fee - Our 2 bedroom apartment represented really good value compared to others in the same price range. Spacious bedrooms with 3 single beds for the kids - no need to worry about bunks! Very clean & well equipped for cooking etc.. It's so nice to finally find decent sized coffee mugs supplied too (the little things are important!). Helpful, friendly staff - a great family stay! Oh.. And free wi-if that actually worked!! ;)

  We overnighted as we had an early-morn departure the next day. Family (incl 2 grandchildren) joined us for dinner. My 5 yo g-son adored the pasta bolognese and ate every mouthful - he thanked the chef, too. The chef (in whites) personally delivered the ice-cream dessert, then encouraged the 3 yo to finish her vegies so she could have her desser... vad folk säger » t too. He brought it over when she had around 2 mouthfuls left, and that spurred her to finish it and get her reward. he was just wonderful, and the - We were staying overnight en route to a convention so accommodation was very convenient. Upgraded as it was my husband's birthday which was lovely. Excellent gym and pool facilities for early morning fitness. Evening snack meal great too. Would stay again if passing through with little time to go into city. Also saved on expensive transfer in and out of city which is worth factoring into the equation of overall cost.
