  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Argus apartments. The staff couldn't do enough for you, the apartments were well appointed, clean, modern and spacious. They are a 10 minute walk to the Waterfront precinct one way and 10 minutes the other direction to the city and buses, perfect.   I stayed for a week, the staff were very very helpful either about the public buses (bus stop next door) or activities to do, really nice and quiet in the evenings.   The proprietors were outstanding. We arrived having lost the use of our credit card as it had been cancelled due to online fraud. Our debit card turned out to be out of date. We were in the embarrassing situation of not being able to pay short of doing a direct bank transfer.   The reception staff is the best. I forgot her name but she was excellent. Very efficient and friendly. Made sure I never missed anything including the pick up taxi even though she wasn't on duty.
