  The ladies working there were just lovely! One stayed on until after midnight to check us in when our flight was delayed. They were so helpful with all of our questions. The place has a really homey feel to it. Interesting, historic, very comfortable. Easy stroll to the train station where everything is easily accessible.   I had a great time at Chatswood Inn. I can't say much about the room itself (it's OK but nothing special), but it was perfectly clean and the staff was very nice and helpful. The location is quite close to Chatswood train station, which is about 15 minutes from the city center on a frequently served train line. Only youth hostel come at a lower rate, and I doubt any can compete with the cleanliness of this place. - It was very off putting from the outside. A house that had been turned in to a "hotel."   The location was great - only minutes' walk from the railway station. Our queen en-suite room was adequate; the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom larger than average.
