Owners/Managers were very welcoming & helpful..We booked the room over the internet & received a response immediately...The room was spotless & the bed was very comfortable. BBQ area at the back of the Motel had a terrific view & a relaxing atmosphere...Would stay there again next trip definately...Thankyou... Nice clean room. Had a large screen TV (only free to air channels) which kept turning itself on and off. A fridge, kettle and taoster. A heater and fan warmed and cooled the room. The bed had an electric underblanket, good on cold nights. Reception staff was friendly.
所有评语 » It was good value for the price. We had a nice view out the back window which you dont think you would get from the front. Very clean and ideal for a short stay. The view from the room was wonderful - there was even a wallaby outside the window when we arrived. Everything else was fine and the price was good. Stunning location Friendly and hospitable staff in particular Bill and Robin who couldn't do enough. Will stay here again - no worries. The motel is placed on top of a hill with a marvellous view over the lake and the bay. Merimbula on itself is a charming little town. obviously old motel kept in very clean condition. beautiful view from ridge where motel is located. retro bathroom style and colours. After booking and paying prior to getting there it was off putting seeing a sign outside when we arrived showing $10 less than what we paid. Didnt like the double bed pushed up against the wall. Nothing. Bathroom floors were freezing!! Just need an extra mat though. Nothing. we couldn't fault anything. No microwave no teatowel and things to clean up with. nothing. The bathroom blocks off most of the view! Am tall enough to see that the shower window ledge not regularly cleaned. Fan in bathroom not working. Nothing. Rooms a little dated but acceptable. Nothing. Nothing. Quality of crockery and cutlery was not of the standard expected for the price. Plastic teaspoons and some plastic plates. We stayed room. #16. Terrible drain smell from bathroom. Didn't get good sleep due to horrible smell. Very upset. old TV, place a little bit rundown. Poor heating. Water basin is still the individual hot water and cold water faucet type. A tap mixer would be good. The beds are only double. I booked a room for 2 people and got a room for 3. Grey bedding and tired old bathroom.
