When we arrived we had the most friendly welcome by the happiest lady, she was just a lovely, helpful person from when we checked in to when we checked out, and she is a great animal lover as well. There was plenty of wildlife in the backyard.A beautiful place to stay,the owners do a great job, we would definately go back there. Very quiet even though its on a main road, we slept really well.
所有评语 » I really liked that the room was large and open, had a balcony, had gorgeous views (even from the bed!!) and was super clean. The host (I wish I remembered her name) was so lovely and omg! all the animals and birds that came for a visit and a feed! Quite amazing! I would definitely stay at the Kingfisher again :). The motel is not the newest but room was very clean and excellent value for money. Great view, very quiet at night too. Loved all the birds and the opportunity to hold one of the friendly owner's rescued baby kangaroos. Stayed in many more modern places in Aus but few with such a nice atmosphere. The overall friendliness of all the management---responding to phone calls, friendly check-in on arrival, and a natural and sincere attitude to make guests very welcome in responding to questions about Merimbula's facilities for visitors.. What a wonderful place! We were made to feel at home from the minute we arrived and got to hold a baby wombat!! We will definitely be booking at the Kingfisher again on our next trip to Merimbula :). A lovely place to stay. My daughter really enjoyed the wildlife and George, the cockatoo. The room was spotlessly clean. The view from the balcony was just delightful. Will stay again. Second time staying here. Slightly away from the hustle and bustle of Merimbula town. Quiet, clean and a great view across the landscape to the ocean. Cant fault it. - The staff was remarkably nice and we really felt home. - The breakfast is served at rooms and the landscape view of the room was so nice (forest and sea). Friendly Management, great location and views. Older style motel but extremely clean and well presented. Loved the animal sanctuary role they have taken. Although this was a three and a half star motel the view from our room was 6star absolutely amazing sun rise worth staying for this alone. Beautiful scenery with lots of birds blending into the nature. Excellent view of the beach. Neat clean good facilities. Magnificent views and very friendly owner. Very comfortable room. Location. Nothing at all except the breakfast was really big, but thats not a complaint. There is really nothing we did not like. Compared to other NSW south coast places,Merimbula is further from Sydney, but it is worth the drive. All the best to all of Merimbula's industries!. Slightly noisy with some cockatoos. Nothing not to like.
