The hosts, Moira & Ron were great. Friendly & accomodating. i stayed 4 nights for business reasons & i must commend the cleaners to a job well done : the rooms were always tidied up & spotless. I have booked in here again for my next business trip within 2 months. Thanks to all. Lovely friendly staff. Clean rooms and linen comfortable bed functional kitchenette including fridge/freezer good water pressure free wi-fi a definite plus Parking easy either in the motel or off-street Easy location central Mackay Great value for money.
所有评语 » Moira and Ron couldn't do enough for us, offered to carry our luggage, offered us their laundry facilities and searched anything we wanted to do on the internet for us. The sign said "try us. We care" and they certainly did. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were a decent size for our stay, nice and close to nightclubs/shopping. Would stay here again and recommend to friends. Clean, tidy, excellent staff - left some meds in my room post checkout, they found them, popped them in an envelope and were waiting for me to pick up whenever I wanted. Located in the heart of MacKay it was easy to go for meals and a drink after whilst being able to walk there and back. Clean and the staff where helpful. The Internet wifi worked (this is unusual I have found), very friendly greeting by staff, slept well. Went to work, great Thai restaurant up the road. Only needed accommodation for one night on way to Brisbane. Arrived late in the afternoon. Staff friendly. Not have the time to look around Mackay. clean and spacious room; staff was friendly If you absolutely need an accomodation in MacKay, i can recommend this motel. Friendly, welcoming owner. He went out of his way when I was going to be arriving after reception closed at 9 pm. Useful place to stay over on way from Port Douglas to Fraser Coast. Enough nearby places to eat. Helpful staff. the staff are friendly and helpful nothing was to much trouble. I would definitely book to stay there again. Exceptionally good staff, who did everything they could to make my stay as enjoyable as possible. A renovated room, close to restaurants, quiet, free internet. Easy access from the Bruce Highway. Location is good, room comfortable. rooms slightly pokey and fittings somewhat dated - this did not detract from all the positives though!. The motel is old so although it had been re-furbished, it can never be luxurious. Only one person can fit in the bathroom at any time. The only thing I would recommend they do is provide better lighting for reading on the bed as there is nowhere else to sit and read. V, v minor niggle - hot water pressure not amazing. Ok, but not amazing. Older motel that has been renivated more than once, but well done, just not much room in the bathroom. Tight off road parking. nothing to complain about. A very small bathroom. Not a lot of space in room either. A little overpriced. The bathroom was very small and the space for luggage is very limited. no wifi service; neither free nor an availbale paid for service. while travelling i like to do admin work in my hotel. please look at adding a wifi service. Lack of cooking facilities Wi-fi signal poor. Internet not working for 2 days... Staff nailing pictures into the wall at 7am. Bathroom small and weird design of room makes it difficult to use luggage rack. Consistent with the town, rooms are overpriced, not good value for money, but only limited choices at a similar price available locally.
