Location was excellent for us- midway between the beautiful beach and boutique shopping and restaurant street. Great for a weekend break. Room was more than adequate for a very reasonable price. Reception staff were friendly and efficient. Nice cafe on the corner of the street for brunch before hopping over to the beach. Close to bus routes from airport and also to sea world and marina. We visited Main Beach for the GC 600 V8 event. The position was perfect, the unit very comfortable, clean, well designed and appointed and the manager very personable. We couldn't have found anywhere better for the money we paid. We were also ideally placed for the restaurants on Tedder Avenue if we wanted to eat out.

Would definitely come again but for longer. The accommodation was fabulous - clean, comfortable, and well stocked with all necessities. The location is perfect and the reception staff were very friendly and keen to please. The Madlives Resort is perfect for both short or long stays. Perfect location and really good facilities in the apartment. Fabulous views from the room too!. Position, close to beach and cafes. Easy to find , and get to other places on Gold Coast. Excellent facilities. Will definitely use this resort again. In a nice quiet location but still walking distance to restaurants, beach and surfers itself. Just a well run clean friendly place. The courteous staff. The honesty of the cleaners as I lost an ear-ring and when I rang it had been handed in. Thank you. Loved the location, the view of the ocean from the room, and the kitchen in each room (we rented 2 different rooms). Great location. Great ocean view. Clean & comfortable inside the apartment. Staff were very professional and friendly and very proactive when needed. Location - walking distance to a lot of facilities... proximity to beach.dining and atmosphere. Manager was very welcoming and helpful. Lovely room, great location. The whole experience. As with most holiday venues on the Gold Coast the reception desk is not manned all the time if you have queries or requests. They could do with having staff on reception longer hours. Air conditioning set too cold. Nothing. The noise of rain on the shade cloth outside the bedroom sliding door. Was a nuisance. The 1st floor room had mold in the shower. There wasn't anyone in the reception after 5. The rooms were not serviced. We used the same towels for 5 days. Check out time should be later than 10am, as check in was 2pm-5pm... no gym. Nothing. Place was a bit worn out,needs renovation carried out.Bathroom had mould on the ledges of the shower,fan didn't work in the bathroom.There was a beeping noise occasionally from the bathroom.Loud banging noise in the middle of the night at times.
