Powerful Hot Shower. It's amazing that it is somewhat a rarity amongst Australian hotel / motel in this price range.(or the nxt one up, sometimes) We came back v late on the second day, informed the reception and we had a late check-out. They didn't INTERROGATE us on the reasons nor did we have to beg for it. No multiple reminder calls or threats to charge exorbitant extra hours either. Superb! The hardware in this hotel maybe a lil dated, but it is the software(service+attitude) that will keep.
所有评语 » We were very happy with our stay, the staff on the front desk were just lovely as were all staff we had contact with. We ate in the restaurant both nights and were very happy with service food and price! Our complimentary breakfasts were just the icing on a lovely stay, thank you very much, we will be back and will recommend your hotel to others. We only stayed one night. Location was suitable for us as we have to be down that side of the city. Staff were great and very helpful.Room was very clean and comfortable. Nice firm mattress. Our room was very quiet as we were at the far end of one wing. Breakfast was also very good. Limited choice but sufficient. Was very busy on Sunday morning. Great spacious room with all the amenities you need. Shower and bathroom was super clean and sheets as comfortable as they get. My partner praised the complimentary breakfast which I unfortunately didnt have time to enjoy. Great staff that accommodated for our late arrival, easy to find and well worth the money! 5 stars. It was such a wonderful experience. I told all my friends if they ever go to Canberra they have to stay at the Ibis. It was such good value for money and way nicer than all the expensive 4 and 5 star hotels we have ever stayed. Breakfast was awesome. The people were great. The hotel was beautiful!. This hotel was excellent value,very clean and comfortable, and when we needed to bring our daughter at late notice, they upgraded us at no charge...certainly a gesture the customer remembers and will encourage us to come back again when needing a hotel in this part of the city. Everything from the minute we approached the reception desk until we left the following day was perfect. We travel a lot on business and I am critical with accommodation but I give Ibis my full recommendation to anyone who wants a good motel at a reasonable price. I got a very good dealwith letsbookhotel.com at $180 for two nights. At reception I was told that this included breakfast-a pleasant surprise.The bed was comfortable.The room was clean.This was all that was required for a quick trip. We would stay there again. We could afford to stay with you this time. We are often in ACT for family reasons and find accomodation very expensive Narrabundah suits us well Room was quiet and comfortable Would come more frequently if rooms were even less. The staff were excellent. Hayley on Reception especially. But all of them were helpful, efficient and very charming. The food in the restaurant both at dinner and breakfast was wonderful. The bed was deliciously comfortable. Instant "Eye-contact" at reception. Well mannered staff, competent, obliging. Very clean, adequate facilities, sumptuous brekky included. Away from the hustle n bustle, but close enough to city and clubs. Will stay again. It was affordable, clean and comfortable. In comparison to other hotels in Canberra which were twice as expensive, it was within our budget and provided good accommodation. Parking was also fairly easy and accessible. The position near friends is great and close to the NGA, NLA, etc. The room was adequate for the price, quiet and comfortable. The staff were polite, friendly and helpful. As always the included breakfast was great. Easy drive to major sight-seeing, we went for the Toulouse Lautrec exhibition. Visited the War Memorial, again, the Portrait Gallery & NGA. Found Continental Breakfast quite excellent and service friendly. We do not have any complaints. We intend to stay there when we visit Canberra again. We have told our families about your Hotel Motel. They also said that they would stay there also in the future. The rooms had obviously recently been updated, with new bathrooms, fresh paint, flat screen tv's. The room size was better than average also, with access to a little balcony off the room. Check -in, no problems with having booked via the Internet. Pay tv included (and worked). Wifi included in the price. Beds were comfortable. Staff very attentive and want to help. comfortable bed , complimentary water bottles,quiet air conditioner,very good location when Canberra is just a sleep over stop.Also I liked that reception was open until midnight. Rooms were a good size. The Hotel is close to everything, rooms are very clean, staff were friendly & helpful, breakfast great and plentiful. We enjoyed our stay immensely. It is much more suitable for fast paced modern travelers. Bathtub belongs to the last century). Hard to find a park when you come back late at night. That we had to leave!. Happy with everything. nothing. The bathroom was very small.Parking spaces were not allocated so there was a long walk to and from the room-not good on a cold rainy night if mobility was an issue.We ate at the restaurant one night and all of the red wines on the menu were unavailable. The exterior door on the block outside our room (219) which banged closed after every guest entering or leaving the building. The step into the bathroom is an invitation to stub toes. And the immobile rose on the shower -it was impossible to check the water temperature without soraying it all over the floor. This is a serious slip hazard. We didn't "dislike" anything. The fact that you have to upgrade to a hot breakfast by paying $11 extra per person. A continental breakfast should already include hot and cold food. That was the only disappointing aspect of our stay. The plumbing in Room 201 made the odd noise and there was a slight smell in the room- not too bad but I was more aware of it than on previous occasions. The bed was a little bit hard. The front toilets needed cleaning (paper bin overflowing and wet floor). Having to book to use the restaurant (small number of tables). Thought the prices for the restaurant were experience. initially they had the 2 rooms that I booked in different locations but they moved us together when my husband requested it .( we were travelling with our 2 adult children ). The weather!.. Unfortunately it is beyond your control!... parking spots not assigned to rooms and could be an issue if returning after days outing or dinner. In fact I was parked in by a tour bus but fortunately it didn't affect me as my Canberra relatives had already planned on driving me to dinner. Few OH&S issues, was scalded by the shower and mangled my toe on a small step into the bathroom. A little signage or fixing would easily solve. Carpet could do with a steam clean. Upgraded breakfast was pretty ordinary - food was not as hot as I would have thought necessary, some of it was decidedly overcooked. Ridge in the middle of the bed was a bit uncomfortable. Saturday night restaurant staff need training/guidence they are only young and there didn't seem to be anyone in charge think the chef was annoyed it was busy and only one person in the kitchen it was a bit like eating at a fast food my hausband had finished his meal by the time mine arrived the table next to us was the same which was a big group. Wish the fan in the bathroom didn't turn on everytime the light was turned on it was so noisy. The price of your meals for dinner. Over the top . We found better value for money elsewhere. Bathroom was a little dirty and noisy children running up and down the hallway in the morning. Unfortunately someone was smoking in our block and smell was quite strong, we reported it to staff. Restaurant food - not much variety. There was originally a computer server problem letsbookhotel.com had and Ibis hadn't received your fax with the manual bookings so lucky I rang to confirm a few days before and I still got the apartment. Breakfast times were busy and sometimes had to wait. As in other reviews of the venue it is a bit tired and needs updating and a lick of paint . carpets tired shower leaked nothing a bit of silastic wouldn't fix ,there was also a musty smell not offensive but noticeable. Would have liked the rooms to have a microwave. There was a strong odour of disinfectant or some such in the room. Traffic slightly noisy in morning but no real problem. Not much parking outside each block of rooms. The 747 jet engine which operated the exhaust fan in the bathroom. The crowded breakfast room. Not enough staff on duty. Long queue waiting for a table. Breakfast items and crockery ran out. Didn't have us booked in even though i had already had a phone call from them 3 weeks earlier asking where we were as they had been expecting us! He assured me it was his mistake and we were still indeed booked in on the dates we HAD booked....yet still on arrival we were not expected. The girl on duty was fabulous thank goodness and got us sorted. Nothing. Each of the mornings we had breakfast we had to put a number of plates or cups aside before we found a clean one - it looked like dishwasher food residue and in one instance a butter wrapper was stuck to the bottom of a plate. Room was a bit 'tired and dated' however, was spacious and very clean. Parking.
