  A very fine ambience in this delightfully restored winery. Complimentary port or muscat in the Great hall with two wood fires blazing was a relaxing way to end a day's driving. The restaurant meal was excellent, as was the breakfast in the sunny morning room.All the staff were friendly and efficient. I would unreservedly recommend Petersons Winery at Armidale. - Geoff and I love staying at Peterson's Armidale Winery and Guesthouse. We are repeat visitors and appreciate the ambience, the great staff, the food and the beautifully appointed rooms. The staff were very understanding when we couldn't arrive by 2100 because of a detour because of bushfires and were more than willing to make us welcome by leaving the key and fresh milk for a cup of tea when we arrived.

  The room had 12 power outlets! 12! and 4 of them were either side of the bed. The Air con was new and worked brilliantly. The room was ver spacious which was great when it is raining and you have kids. There are deer which were just a lovely touch for the kids. There is a heated pool and spa which were very well kept.   Friendly staff, plenty of parking, nice functional room layout, great cooked breakfast. I would have liked to sample the bar and restaurant in the evening but it wasn't open Sunday.
