A very fine ambience in this delightfully restored winery. Complimentary port or muscat in the Great hall with two wood fires blazing was a relaxing way to end a day's driving. The restaurant meal was excellent, as was the breakfast in the sunny morning room.All the staff were friendly and efficient. The rooms were comfortable, and the underfloor heating in the bathroom was an added luxury. I would unreservedly recommend Petersons Winery at Armidale.
所有评语 » Geoff and I love staying at Peterson's Armidale Winery and Guesthouse. We are repeat visitors and appreciate the ambience, the great staff, the food and the beautifully appointed rooms. The staff were very understanding when we couldn't arrive by 2100 because of a detour because of bushfires and were more than willing to make us welcome by leaving the key and fresh milk for a cup of tea when we arrived. Gorgeous home with lovely ambiance. Dinner was first class and very reasonably priced for the quality of the dishes served. Free bottle of wine on departure is a nice touch, as is the wine tasting before dinner. Comfortable bed. I really liked the quiet surroundings for a excellent rest. Breakfast first class. Nothing was too much trouble. We checked in effortlessly and asked for a bottle of wine and cheese plate on arrival and it was delivered quickly. The evening meal was delicious and our son and two friends enjoyed it very much. Historical building, well maintained, modern rooms, beautifull gardens, guaranteed quiet relaxing time, wine tasting during day.Friendly attentive staff, by far best available rooms in Armidale about 4/5 k from town centre. Everything about this property is amazing. Breakfast exceptional and general comfort of property could not be faulted in any way. Staff very friendly. Exceptional value for money. Was relaxing and quiet,meals was of very highstandard,maybe someof the best meals I have tasted. Bit more reading matter about the Guest house would be good.Over all excellent,. A very relaxing place to visit. The service was great but recognized privacy of guests. The food and wines were great. Well heated for an old Armidale homestead. An Architectural gem, wonderful grounds, good food and discreet relaxed service. As a regular visitor to Australia an amazing find, can't recommend it too highly. Lovely rooms,decorated to match house. Beautiful gardens, friendly staff and excellent breakfast. everything was consistently great. Lovely location extremely comfortable bed excellent food at dinner and breakfast. Loved the spa bath. Bottle if wine when leaving a very nice touch. There is nothing we do not like about Peterson's Armidale Winery and Guesthouse. There is nothing I could say to improve the venue. There was nothing to dislike - everything superb. leaving. Bath towels very small and worn dreadful hangers in the wardrobe Staff not visible Had to ring and wait at a door for staff. Rather a strange arrangement.
