  We stayed for 3days/2 nights in this very nice and beautifully located hotel. Double rooms are well sized but for 3 adults a bit small. View from the restaurant towards the central mountains is spectacular. Breakfast is good and dinner was always delicious.   We are a couple from Mexico in our fisrt trip to Calafate. We found Hosteria Meulen wonderful and clean. Hostesses were very nice and always worried about our satisfaction.   I must say this hotel could not of been better as far as taking care of us. When we needed extra nights they worked hard to let us stay in our same room. The last night we had to move across the street and they let us walk over and still enjoy their fabulous breakfast!!! They made sure my husband had Gluten free as well.   All staff including the restaurant one went way beyond their duty, so nice and helpful. The location was perfect for us, best view of the lagos in town and only few minutes walk or cab from town if you need to go there. It is not a place for those looking for luxury, but instead you will find a great staff that will make their best to make you feel like you are at home. Have a free cup of tea at 6 o'clock looking at the birds flying over the Nimez laguna and waking up with the birds singing is really fantastic.   Exceedingly nice for the price, very relaxed, tremendous restaurant right in the building, walking distance to main street and casino, much better than we anticipated. Staff spoke adequate english, and could help with our trip arrangements (taxis and buses, tours).
