  LOVED the breakfasts in the morning, the free local paper, the friendliness of the staff, the location is good for what we had to do. Can't say enough about the wonderful people who work there - they make a very positive impression.The whole lobby with the fireplace is very inviting. - We got an upgrade to a larger room and king bed that we real... vad folk säger » ly liked. The room had a gas fireplace that was very nice to look at. Yes we turned it on shortly due to it being warm and didn't need the extra heat. But, that is what made us start planning staying again.

  The Staff was very pleasant. The morning breakfast room was very good and the ladies in charge of providing the food were friendly and made sure there was enough of a very good buffet. It was nice to see little extras like mints, toothpaste etc in bowls for guests to help themselves. Complimentary breakfast had a large selection, was very tasty and the breakfast staff people were also really nice and helpful. Beds were very comfortable.

  I like the location at the I-89/i91 interchange. it was easy to find, beautiful countryside to look at from our balcony. easy access to shopping, ski areas, quechee/woodstock area for recreation, easy access to new hampshire and vermont for business. most of all we liked the quietness of the interior. we did not hear doors slamming shut in the ... vad folk säger » night, or people making noise in the hallways coming and going to/from their rooms. the best night sleep we have had in A hotel in A very long time. - The White River Inn is ideally located near the base of the White Mountains as a starting place for a White Mtn. Vacation. The staff is very accommodating, buffet breakfast is comprehensive for a road stop inn and the rooms are very comfortable. I would return without hesitation if I found myself in the area needing a bed for a night. A great value for the price.
