I loved the lcation of the View Apartments as it was a few steps from the metro, restaurants, supermarkets and the dc Waterfront. It was also withing walking distance (20-25 mins) of the dc mall an monuments. The building was very quiet and other residents very polite and friendly. The apartment was a nice size and very comfortable. More information should have been provided provided byGinosi about the logistics for the apartment. For example, we thought that we would have regular hotel cleanin.
alla recensioner » The location was great. Facilities were perfect. This was such a great change from a standard hotel room. We were provided with the amenities and comfort of a home away from home. The Metro, grocery store, waterfront, parking were all a few steps away. The location was excellent. Convenient to everywhere we wanted to go. The concierge was busy but very helpful. the apartment was well appointed and clean. We used the kitchen a little and that was nice to have. The front desk staff let me borrow a space heater which was above and beyond the call of duty, but much appreciated. It was home away from home, quiet and relaxing after a hectic day of shopping and sightseeing. Very nicely decorated apartment right next to the green line metro stop. Closeness to Waterfront Metro. Having a kitchen. Location. Apartment desk clerk--not the touted conceirge from Ginosi--tried to be helpful, but was unable to assist us. Easy access to Metro for access to downtown and convention hall Nice appartment in quet area with riverside walks. Arrival and check-in was a bit misleading. The door access code did not work but the building front office was very accomodating and called Ginosi to arrange for my checking in. We were not given a laundry room card until we asked the next day. It would be good in future if an local agent number id provided for guests to call and get specific details about checkin and the apartment services. Can't think of anything. The heat was not yet on in the building and the apartment was quite cold. Parking was a bit of a hassle and the cutlery in the kitchen is only good for rudimentary cooking. Pool closed prior to our arrival on 17th Sept, unknown to us. A major disappointment to my 10 yr old. Also a major reason for booking this location. no phone in apartment. Having to purchase bath linens because there were none in the apartment and there was no one to provide any. The apartment needed cleaning. The dishwasher leaked, which resulted in damage to the laminate flooring. The garbage disposal was broken. The security lock on the door was broken. The toilet seat was about to fall off. I could go on. Kitchen Sink problems and flooding at arrival and broken lamp only repaired after repeated calls. Initially no kitchen linnens and kitchen equipment relatively limited.
