The staff were observant and ready to meet the needs of their customers. Example: The coffee pot was running low toward the end of the breakfast time, the staff immediately made another pot of coffee for those of us running late. The atmosphere was relaxing, not noisy, or crowded. My husband were to celebrate our 28th wedding anniversay and really enjoyed it!!!! I LOVED THE FURNITURE IN OUR ROOM..BIG POST BED, AND KITCHEN.
alla recensioner » Me and my husband loved it we got to spend a relaxing weekend away got in the hot tub and pool the first night and went to Galveston all day Saturday you get so much the rooms are beautiful comes with a couch stove sink we had a kingsize bed the ceiling above the bed was painted blue like the sky and had white clouds beautiful would love to stay there again thank you so much crystal suites your our favorite place to stay!!!!!!. I loved the price and it was so close to Galveston, but didn't have to pay those expensive prices to be on the beach. The place was clean, quite, and the staff was so nice and helpful, I always ask alot of questions about the town and places to eat and they were happy to answer all of them. I would happily recommend this place to all my friends and am planning to stay there again. Texas City is a nice little town. Everything, honestly. It was one of the best hotels I've been to, especially for the price. I've traveled the world (10+ countries) as has my wife, and done a lot of domestic travel as well. I wanted to make sure I let people know how clean and nice this place is. They deserve your business. If you're in the area and read this review, go here. We liked that the staff was friendly and pleasant, the hotel was quiet even though there were alo of kids there. It was very clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. I really liked that it was only a short distance to Gavleston an Kemah we were right in the middle of both locations. We really enjoyed our stay. Super cheap totally worth the money! I didnt want to spend the rates on galveston island and this was relativly close (about 10 minutes to the bridge) and the beach was about a 25 minute drive. Perfect for what we wanted as we dont expect the hotel room to be the highlight of the trip!. The room was exceptionally large with a comfortable king size bed. Room was quiet. Room was clean. Bathroom was clean with granite style countertops. Microwave and refrigerator. Continental breakfast was adequate. WI-Fi worked great. I loved the furniture. I can't recall ever staying in a hotel with fine furniture such as you have at this location. Very affordable and great indoor pool and hot tub was a great treat for the family. Clean rooms. The food was good. The hotel was clean and comfortable. It was noise free while we slept. Large room, nice swimming pool, great breakfast, and convenient location. The pool and spa were enjoyable late evening. After arriving at my room I realized the room was not as bad as I thought it would be from the pictures. The location was good to Galveston and other local shopping. Easy to find. Clean room; comfortable bed; located near where I had to be. Large room with refrigerator & microwave. It is about 20 min drive from galveston. Room was big, with stove and sink. Simple breakfast but enough to feed me small Indoor pool with hot tub, which I did not try. My husband complained about the AC which I was fine with, but that is how it goes. You can't please everyone! I love him anyway!. Beds were uncomfortable...Other guests had complained about a smell.. it was a little musky, nothing bad though. Tv was an older model. While it worked fine, the picture was slightly distorted. This wasn't really a problem as I wasn't there to watch tv. Just a note as most other hotel rooms now have flat screens. There was a smoke detector hanging by a wire from our ceiling. It may or may not have worked if there was smoke. They need to spray for cock roaches. I only saw one on the last night of my stay and could have easily came in with another guest. would have liked a bit more lights on center of room. Breakfast time should be longer. Their back door was VERY AGGRAVATING!!! The card key would RARELY unlock it!! They really need to fix the door or issue new cards, because the ones we had wouldn't work. We usually got some one to stand at the door or got someone else to open the door for us. My wife called down and asked for 3 washcloths and 2 towels. They told her she had to come down to the desk and get them and when I went down to get them I had to settle for 3 washcloths 1 towel. May not be a big deal for others, but it is to me. When we came back at night we had to walk around the whole building to enter because the front door card reader did not work. The bed was hard as a brick and the hallways were like walking outside in the heat. I disliked nothing. The outside of the check in area was a bit dirty. Decor needs some updating. Breakfast should be longer on weekends. 9 am to end breakfast is too early!. Sunday Free breakfast was supposed to be available until 10. When we arrived at 9:30, there were two apples left and nothing else. When we asked for more food to be supplied, they said they quit refilling at 9 am. Not enough variety of breakfast options. Hotel was warm Staff could have been nicer. The mattress and the smelly guest restroom on the first floor. Better Continental breakfast. The bed. No vending machines. No blankets just bedspreads. Not enough washcloths or towels. Exercise room was Nasty not functioning and stunk. The pool has GREEN SLIM and cloudy. The second floor has a gas leak! You can smell it bad on the second floor near the elevator. The clerk ignored me and said that they don't have any gas! Go elsewhere. Very old facility: you could hear steps from 2nd floor, tv from next door. There's one family with 6 or more children somewhere close to my room and they stay awake over midnight, thus so did I.... Messy management: When I checked in I was told there were no room on 2nd floor, so I took Room 112, but when I checked out they told me I was accommodated in Room 225 acc. To the system... Overall I did not see any 3 star here. If you want a clean and nice rest, I would not recommend it.
