  Our beds were comfortable, the room was large and it had a big bathroom. We loved the restaurant/bar in the lobby, called the Hurricane Grill. The Food was great, the staff friendly & they had great specials for food & alcohol too. They make the best charbroiled cheeseburgers we've ever eaten. Their wings are awesome too. They were informative about transport to their facility from the airport and to the docks. When my cousin had a problem with the tub in our room, the staff let us into other rooms for her to investigate for a suitable replacement.   We stayed 3 days at Wingate. First of all I want to say about general manager - Manuel Aguiar, he is a great manager. Everything was booked up the night before we came. We arrived in the morning, they cleaned a room fast for us and let us to check in 5 hours early! The huge plus is that the Service was great! Room was cleaned every day, like in 5 ... vad folk säger » star hotel. Newspaper everyday. Free shuttle to Busch gardens and some other places. 5 USD shuttle to 3 miles around. Free breakfast. Hot water machi - the staff was wonderful - every person I came into contact with was helpful, polite, pleasant, and thoughtful to both me and my 5 year old - EXCELLENT JOB! I can't say enough good about the shuttle service - it was unbelievably convenient and prompt! the hotel was very clean, the breakfast had options and the coffee was delicious, the rooms were ample and met our needs, parking was plentiful - the pool wasn't heated and due to the cool weather we couldn't swim but that was the luck of the draw.

This hotel was an absolute excellent value for families.
